‘American Horror Story’ Season 10 to Start Filming in October

American Horror Story’s season 10 is heading into production this October.

According to an Instagram post on Friday, the FX drama’s co-creator revealed Season 10 production is set to start in October. The Instagram post also included a scary teaser.

“Looks like American Horror Story Season 10 is go for an October (fitting) production launch,” Murphy captioned the photo. “Thanks to everyone who is working hard to assure a safe start for the cast and crew. And yes this is a clue.”

Previously, Ryan Murphy shared a clue with a photo of an empty beach under a colorful sky.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, FX announced Season 10 will not premiere until 2021.

Season 10 casting includes Macaulay Culkin joining the cast and crew. Also, franchise veterans Evans Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross and Finn Wittrock are returning to the series.

A spinoff of American Horror Story, titled American Horror Stories, is also coming soon and will air on HULU.

In relevant news, Netflix’s Ozark will start production in November 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia. Ozark Season 4 starts production this November in Georgia. Jason Bateman, the leading actor, producer, and director of the Netflix series says filming for Ozark season 4 will start on November 9, 2020, in Georgia.

Ozark’s final season will split into two, seven-episode parts. Netflix typically does not like to have astronomical seasons. Lately, most Netflix shows end around 10-episodes for every new season.
