6 Uses of Propaganda that Hollywood Uses to Sell Movies

Date:

Hollywood uses propaganda a lot to sell movies. But, it begs the question, are we getting brainwashed?

Hollywood always changes their marketing techniques and strategies. But, recently some of the biggest movies have used propaganda to convince movie goers to check out their feature films.

Recently, new movie posters for Transformers: Age of Extinction started appearing in major cities, but instead of selling the movie in a traditional sense, they are appealing to audiences as if they are trying to brainwash you with anti-Transformer propaganda.

This type of marketing techniques attempts to evoke emotions and imagery that historically has been used to intimidate people or serve as public service announcements to warn people about possible threats to their life.

But, Transformers are not the only one. So here are 5 movies that have used propaganda marketing to sell movies.
