10 TV Shows That Will Most Likely Get Canceled this Year

It’s that time of the year where networks begin deciding which shows will get the axe and which shows will live on. Most recently, Fox pulled the plug on Mulaney an aspiring comedy that failed to reach audiences.

About a Boy is the lowest-rated show on broadcast for the evening and NBC cut the number of episodes from the series from 22 to 20 which is basically a death sentence for any TV show.

Meanwhile, ratings for the new NBC drama, Allegiance had a disappointing premiere of 1.1 rating. Network executives believed that the show would get a boost from the Blacklist, but that doesn’t look like that show will last more than a few more episodes.

NBC’s Constantine also had really bad ratings. Airing on Friday nights has basically put the show in a coffin and said goodnight.  Reports suggest that Constantine featured 0.9 to 0.8 ratings in the key demographic. Ultimately, the ratings for Constantine were extremely bad.

ABC Resurrection has shocked me before. Last year, when ratings for the show plummeted ABC still renewed the show for another season. However, it has been a long time since the show featured 13.9 million viewers. Currently, Resurrection lost about 10 million nightly viewers and has a merely 3.73 million people watching every week. Expect ABC to pull the plug on this drama.

At the end of the day, ratings is the only thing that matters in Hollywood.

Here are the 10 shows that will most likely get canceled.

1. About a Boy

2. Allegiance
