YouTube's 'Karate Kid' Atlanta Open Casting Call
Casting directors are seeking talent to work on scenes filming in Atlanta, Georgia. Producers are seeking talents to play the following roles:
- REAL Skateboarders With own boards Ages: 18-22
- Kids Ages: 9-16
- REAL police/military men Ages: 20-55
- Women for cardio class Ages: 30-45 Those with mid level cardio experience Looking for fit and women who are trying to get in shape
- Experienced Female Joggers Ages: 25-45 Must be fit and have nice jogging attire
- Eastern European man to portray mall manager Ages: 35-45 Especially seeking men with Armenian/Baltic appearance
- Recurring sales people Ages: 20-60 Must have own business attire (suits, button downs, pencil skirts, blouses, etc)
- Also looking vehicles: Upscale luxury AND beaters/older vehicles, dents and dings ok!
About Karate Kid:
IMDB reports the new TV series will be set 30 years after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament.
“The series focuses on Johnny Lawrence reopening the Cobra Kai dojo, which causes his rivalry with Daniel LaRusso to be reignited,” the plot description on IMDB says.
The show will feature Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who will reprise their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. The 10 episode series will premiere on YouTube Red in 2018.
