About Tyler Perry's ‘SISTAS'
“Sistas,” a new hour-long dramedy series created by Tyler Perry, centers around four lifelong friends navigating the complexities of adulthood in modern-day Atlanta, Georgia. Each woman, in her thirties and single, experiences a whirlwind of emotions and comedic predicaments that resonate with single women on their quest to find “Mr. Right.”
The story features Andi (played by KJ Smith), a dedicated new attorney at a top law firm whose personal life becomes tangled when she falls for a married man. With the support of her best friends—Danni (Mignon), a blunt, youthful airline supervisor; Sabrina (Novi Brown), the empathetic bank worker; and Karen (Ebony Obsidian), an ambitious entrepreneur who owns a beauty salon—Andi navigates her challenging love life.
In this backdrop, the series highlights how personal flaws can either strengthen or destroy relationships. “Sistas” delves into the unpredictable twists of fate and complex emotions involved in romantic relationships, showing that even in the worst situations, there is space for humor and laughter. Perry's series underscores the importance of friendship and family, proving that these bonds can bring joy amidst life's pains.

Job Overview: TPS Production Services is seeking paid extras of all ethnicities, both male and female, aged 18 to 65, to participate in the filming of Season 8 of “SISTAS”. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Thursday, May 9, 2024 – BG Neighbors with Cars
- Act as a background neighbor in various outdoor and indoor scenes.
- Must have a car to be used as part of the scene setting.
- Friday, May 10, 2024 – Bank Customers
- Portray various customers engaging in typical banking activities.
- Friday, May 10, 2024 – Male Gym Goers (Athletic Types)
- Represent patrons of a gym, engaging in or appearing to engage in physical exercises.
- Friday, May 10, 2024 – Hair Salon Customers with Cars (Women Only)
- Act as customers receiving services in a hair salon scene.
- Must have a car to be used as part of the scene setting.
- Friday, May 10, 2024 – Hair Salon Stylists (Men and Women)
- Portray hair stylists performing various styling services.
Requirements:
- Ages 18 to 65.
- Open to all ethnicities.
- Able to follow directions clearly and behave naturally on set.
- Specific requirements for each role:
- BG Neighbors & Hair Salon Customers: Must provide your own car for the scene.
- Male Gym Goers: Should have an athletic physique.
- Hair Salon Stylists: Experience in hair styling is preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- Standard Rate: $100 for 8 hours of work.
- Car Bump: Additional $25 for roles requiring car use.
- Payment terms will be discussed upon casting confirmation.

Job Description: TPS Production Services is currently seeking male and female extras for the eighth season of the hit TV series “SISTAS.” We are looking to fill roles for bank customers of all ethnicities. This is a rush call with filming scheduled to start promptly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a bank customer, performing background actions to give life to the scenes.
- Follow directions from the director and assistant directors.
- Remain on set for the full duration of the shoot.
- Maintain professionalism and discipline on set to ensure a smooth production process.
Requirements:
- Ages 18 to 65, open to all genders and ethnicities.
- Must be available on the specified date and able to arrive on set by 2 PM.
- Previous acting experience is not required, but professionalism and the ability to follow directions are crucial.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the set in Atlanta, GA.
Compensation:
- $100 for an 8-hour shift. Overtime will be compensated if the filming exceeds the scheduled hours.
