HBO Silicon Valley Season 2 Open Casting Call

San Francisco, California Casting Calls - HBO Silicon Valley Season 2 is now filming and looking for extras to work on the hit TV series.

Silicon Valley is a TV series created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky. Silicon Valley centers on six young men who found a startup company in Silicon Valley. The series premiered on April. Weeks later, HBO announced that the series had been renewed for a second season. Last year, Christopher Evan Welch, who plays billionaire Peter Gregory, died in December 2013 of lung cancer, having finished his scenes for the first five episodes. The production team decided against recasting the role and reshooting his scenes; on his passing, Judge commented that "The brilliance of Chris’ performance is irreplaceable, and inspired us in our writing of the series." He went on to say, "The entire ordeal was heartbreaking. But we are incredibly grateful to have worked with him in the brief time we had together. Our show and our lives are vastly richer for his having been in them." In the eighth episode, a memoriam is made in his honor at the end of the credits roll. The character of Peter Gregory was not killed off or removed from Season 1's plot. Season 1 ended with Hendriks taking the lead in making Pied Piper's final presentation. Having scrapped all of Pied Piper's other features overnight, Hendriks describes only his new compression algorithm, and demonstrates it. Hendriks' algorithm strongly outperforms Nucleus, and he is mobbed by eager businessmen. Beau Bonneau Casting is casting extras to work on the upcoming second season of Silicon Valley. We are Immediately Seeking Upscale, Professional-looking, Non Union Men & Women 35-55 to portray Venture Capitalists & Wives in party scenes shooting outdoors & overnight at AT&T Park in SF from approx 4PM Thurs 11/20 – Fri 6AM Fri 11/21 for “Silicon Valley”, an HBO series! Hours/Rates: You must be available for this approx 13hr shoot without conflict. Non Union extras get a minimum payment of $85.92 (for 8hrs or less), overtime at time & ½ half and double time after 12 hrs (based on SF Min Wage $10.74/hr). Free parking, a late meal and snacks/drinks provided.
