About Shrill:
Shrill follows “Annie, described as an overweight young woman who wants to change her life — but not her body. Annie is trying to make it as a journalist while juggling bad boyfriends, sick parents and a perfectionist boss, while the world around her deems her not good enough because of her weight. She starts to realize that she’s as good as anyone else, and acts on it.”

EXTRAS NEEDED for HIT TV show SHRILL filming this Fall in and around the Portland, OR area-
The show is produced by and features some of the biggest talents working in comedy today, Starring Aidy Bryant (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE) and based on the memoir by Lindy West.
EVERYONE SHOULD APPLY
The show will be looking for people of all shapes, sizes, orientations, ethnicities and abilities to create a truthful and realistic Portland setting for a woman who wants to change her life, not her body. Now more than ever, a program about body positivity and soul searching is needed, stream the first 2 seasons on HULU to see our vibe!
The third season is looking for people to be paid extras, stand-in’s, and photo doubles! Extras and standins are paid $13.25/hr. Filming begins in October!

Notes on COVID-19.
All extras will be submitted to regular COVID-19 testing depending on frequency of work. All extras will be required to follow safety protocols including social distancing practices and mandatory mask wearing. The show will cover all testing expenses once casting is confirmed.
