Showtime's new series the Curse is now casting principal roles for the upcoming series.

The Curse is an upcoming American comedy TV series created and written by Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie and stars Emma Stone, Fielder, and Safdie. The series will premiere on Showtime.

Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone (La La Land, The Favourite, ) will star and work as an executive producer under her Fruit Tree production banner. The series will be directed by co-star Nathan Fielder (Nathan for You, How To with John Wilson), who will also alongside brothers Josh and Benny Safdie from and their Elara Pictures production company. A24 will also produce. Fielder, who co-created the series with Benny Safdie, will aos star in the series.

Showtime describes the show as follows:

“THE CURSE is a genre-bending scripted comedy that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring on their problematic new show.”
