SF Bay Area Casting Call for HBO's New Series "Looking"

Casting directors are currently casting paid extras for the HBO series “Looking” filming in San Francisco.

The series is about 3 gay friends living in San Francisco and features Jonathan Groff (SMASH). Acccording to the Huffington Post, Groff will play a video game designer named Patrick, who’s looking for love on OKCupid. “The show hopefully will express all facets of gay life,” he said. “We’re all different types of people. There’s lots of people who have anonymous sex. There’s also people looking for love. There’s people looking for an open relationship. There are also the queens. There are those you wouldn’t know were gay. It’s the gay experience.” vKVZ0du HBO is targeting a 2014 premiere date with eight episodes planned for the new series. HBO producers will be filming 9/16 to 9/18 and background needs will change for each episode. But, casting directors are seeking certain types. Beau Bonneau Casting is casting SF Bay Area local extras 18 years and over for "Looking", an HBO dramedy revolving around the lives of 3 gay friends, starring Jonathan Groff, shooting weekdays - 11/8 in SF. IMMEDIATELY SEEKING THE FOLLOWING: * Friday 10/4 - True Leather/Fetish Enthusiasts & People with Leather or Leather-inspired clothing options (Pants, Vests, Chaps, Shorts, Dresses, Skirts, Corsets, Bustiers, Tops, Boots, etc.) that can piece together at least a partial leather outfit to portray Leather booth shoppers at the Folsom Street Fair. The Costumes Dept. can only accessorize an existing outfit; you must have more than just a leather jacket in order to be considered. Hours/Rates/ Employment: Shoot expected to last 8hrs, start time unknown until evening before, but likely around 7AM. Must be avail all day Fri 10/4 from morning to evening. Union members are paid scale. Non Union extras get SF min wage $84.40 for 8/hrs plus overtime at time and one half. Must present valid ID for I-9 paperwork on set or you cannot work. US Citizens must have U.S. Passport or both a Drivers License with Social Security card or Birth Certificate. Non Citizens must have Permanent Resident/Green Card or Dept. of Homeland Security Work Authorization.
