Netflix is now casting extras to work on BAZ LUHRMANN’S Netflix series THE GET DOWN filming in NYC.
Netflix casting directors are looking for African American, Hispanic, and mixed men and women ages 18 to 20 years old to play teens at a rap battle in New York City for the TV series BAZ LUHRMANN’S Netflix series THE GET DOWN.
Fitting is scheduled for this December 4th and filming will take place on Monday, December 7th and Tuesday, December 8th.
About Netflix’s The Get Down:
“The Get Down” centers around the emerging music scene in the 1970’s. The 70’s featured the birth of punk rock and hip hop. The show will be set in New York City which is also the home of an excssive crime rate and corruption. According toVariety,“The Get Down” will focus on a group of teens living in the South Bronx as music develops and explodes in the borough around them.
