Meryl Streep's 'Little Women Open Casting Call for Dancers

Little Women starring Meryl Streep and Emma Stone is now casting dancers in Boston, Massachusetts.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Boston, Massachusetts. Producers will be holding auditions on Sunday, September 30th at Green Street Studios - Studio 1 (185 Green Street, Cambridge, MA 02139)

Producers are seeking the following types:

• Seeking Dancers with 5-10 years of professional experience and/or conservatory training, Modern dance training preferred: - Female dancers dress size 2-6, 5'3" - 5'8" tall, with natural colored hair (age 18+) - Male dancers jacket size 38-42, 5'8" - 6'0” tall, with natural colored hair (age 18+)

About Little Women:

A-listers Meryl Streep, Emma Stone, Saoirse Ronan and Timothee Chalamet are in talks to star in Little Women adaptation. The novel by Louisa May Alcott, which follows the March sisters in post-Civil War America, has been adapted several times into feature films. FEATURE FILM “LITTLE WOMEN” – SEEKING DANCERS – BOSTON, MA Choreographer Monica Bill Barnes is seeking 26 Modern/Contemporary dancers for Sony Feature film “Little Women,” written and directed by Greta Gerwig, based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott. Seeking Dancers with 5-10 years of professional experience and/or conservatory training, Modern dance training preferred: - Female dancers dress size 2-6, 5'3" - 5'8" tall, with natural colored hair (age 18+) - Male dancers jacket size 38-42, 5'8" - 6'0” tall, with natural colored hair (age 18+) Filming will be in Boston, MA and surrounding areas. SAG and Non-Union talent accepted. Must be 18 years or older. Local hire only. Must be available for filming date, rehearsal dates and a pre-fitting in advance. Pay is SAG scale.
