IFC is now casting real athletes to work as a baseball pitcher for the new TV show Brockmire. Filming will take place in Macon, Georgia on Tuesday, July 5th.About Brockmire:
According to Variety, Brockmire is one of two shows set to film in Atlanta, Georgia. The second is Stan Against Evil. Brockmire centers around a Hank Azaria who plays a “veteran baseball announcer who returns to the booth for a minor league team 10 years after he suffered an on-air meltdown.” Joel Church-Cooper from Undatable is writing the script with Tim Kirkby directing the show.
