Hilary Swank‘s new movie What They Had is now casting extras in Chicago, Illinois.

4 Star Casting is now casting actors, models, and talent to work on the new Hilary Swank movie, What They Had. Casting directors are looking for talents to work on scenes filming between March 23rd through early April. Casting directors are casting a ton of roles ranging from hospital visitors to stand-in positions. Filming will take place in Chicago, Illinois.

About What They Had:

The story centers on a woman (Hilary Swank) who must fly back to her hometown when her Alzheimer’s-stricken mother wanders into a blizzard. The return home forces her to confront her past.

PROJECT: “What They Had” – Independent Feature
LOCATION: Chicago and Surrounding Areas (You must have your own transportation)
Role: Non-Union Extras
RATE: $84/8
SHOOT DATES: Thu., 3/23, Fri, 3/24, Mon., 3/27, Tue., 3/28, Wed., 3/29, and possibly a date or two in April.

We are looking for people to play the following:

3/23 (Location TBD)
Hospital Staff and Patient/Visitors – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Ages 18 – 65: if you have scrubs/lab coat, please let us know in the submission, and include a photo if possible.

3/24 (Chicago @ McCormick Place/Subject to Change)
Make-Out Couple – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Age 20s, we are looking for a real-life couple to make out during the scene. Please submit as a couple, and confirm you are comfortable kissing for the camera.

Teenage Lovebirds – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Age 18-19, we are looking for two teenagers who are at the airport sharing an ice cream. Let us know if you would be comfortable holding hands in the scene. You can submit as a real-life couple.

Travelers w/Cars (no black, no red, no white vehicles) – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Ages 18 – 55, please make sure to include the make, model, year and COLOR of your vehicle in the submission.

3/27 (Oak Park/Subject to Change):
Church Goers – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Ages 18 – 85

Old Priest: Male, Caucasian, Age 65 – 85

Teens for Choir, Any Ethnicity, Age 16 – 18: this will most likely just be lip-synching to a song, but if you have choir experience or singing experience, please include that in your submission. This would be a possible upgrade.

Altar Boys and Girls, Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Age 11 – 14: your parent must submit you, and include the name of the employer listed on the work permit.

3/28 (Location TBD):
Mourners – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Ages 18 – 85 (we are looking for a few people who work on the 17th to repeat on the 19th)

Little Girl, Any Ethnicity, Age 4 – 8: your parent must submit you, and include the name of the employer listed on the work permit.

Little Boy, Caucasian, Age 4 – 8: your parent must submit you, and include the name of the employer listed on the work permit.

We are looking for military who have experience with the Honor Guard, but if you have military experience you will be considered. Male, Any Ethnicity, Ages 22 – 65

Bugler (can play Taps): We are looking for military who have experience with the Honor Guard, but if you have military experience you will be considered. Male, Any Ethnicity, Ages 22 – 65, please let us know about your experience as a musician. This would be a possible upgrade.

3/29 (Location TBD):
Day Drinkers/Regular @ Dive Bar, Male, Any Ethnicity, Age 40s

Busboy, Male, Hispanic, Age 20s to 30s

Homeless Woman, Female, Any Ethnicity, Age 18 – 70, please send us at least one photo that shows you disheveled in addition to your other photos if you want to be considered for this part.

STAND-IN:

STAND-IN RATE: $150/10
SHOOT DATES: 3/24 through approximately 4/17 – week days only

2) Include your name, age, height, weight, phone number, current zip code and email address.

3) Include your measurements:

Men: Jacket, Neck/Sleeve (note: sleeve is measured from middle of the back of your neck down the length of your arm to wrist), Pants (waist/inseam), and Shoes
Women: Dress, Pants, Bust/Waist/Hips and Shoes

4) If you are submitting for a role that include a vehicle, please include COLOR, MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR.

5) Send 2 RECENT candid photos in jpeg format (both close up and full length). Make sure the photo is taken in decent lighting (no selfies), no sunglasses, no hats! Show us your style but make sure we can see your face! The better the photo, the better your chance of being submitted.

Most importantly… Please rename your photo with your FIRST and LAST name. Right click on the photo and it will give you an option to re-name the file, Re-name it with your full name.

6) Confirm your mode of transportation.

7) If you are a minor, 15 years or younger, your parent must complete your submission. Your parent must include the name of the employer listed on the work permit, and fill out the master survey on our Facebook page for minors.

8) If you are submitting for stand-in, please make sure to include your on-set or stand-in experience.

9) Complete the master survey dated 3.16 to 4.4, if you are a minor, complete the master survey for children on our Facebook page.

We are asking for a lot of information, please double-check your submission carefully before hitting send.

You must be registered with us at www.4starcasting.com to be considered. If you are not registered, you will not be cast.
