Casting directors for HBO’s Eastbound and Down is currently casting background actors for the entire season of the show.
Eastbound & Down is an American comedy television series broadcast on HBO, starring Danny McBride as Kenny Powers, a former professional baseball pitcher, who after an up and down career in the major leagues is forced to return to his hometown middle-school in Shelby, North Carolina, as a substitute physical education teacher.

EASTBOUND AND DOWN CASTING CALLS: These work the week of June 10th-14th… So please keep that in mind when submitting… each role will work one of these days so please have a flexible schedule this week…
“HOT GIRLS” 20-32… Please send head and body shots and look your best as we will be showing them to the Director.
“TRUCK DRIVERS”… Think guys who look like they would drive a big rig.
“MALL PHOTOGRAPHER” Male’s in their 20’s and up…
“BABY DOCTOR” Professional looking male’s who are clean cut and who could pass as a doctor.
“PRIEST” Clean cut.. 40’s and up.
