‘Halloween’ Reboot Casting Call for Cheerleaders

Date:

Halloween sequel starring Jamie Lee Curtis is now casting cheerleaders in Charleston, South Carolina.

Casting directors are now casting talent to work on scenes filming on multiple days in Charleston, South Carolina.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • Seeking 12 HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS (15 -19 years of age). Females, ALL RACES. This request is for ACTUAL Cheer Squad/Dance Team members ONLY. Not seeking those that can pretend to be Cheerleaders.

About Halloween:

Halloween was slated for a November production launch before being pushed back to its new mid-January start date.

According to Omega Underground, David Gordon Green’s Halloween soft-reboot/sequel is now filming in Charleston, South Carolina.

Directed by David Gordon Green (Stronger) and co-written by Alien: Covenant star Danny McBride, the franchise revamp will pick up after the 1978 Halloween.

“We’re kind of ignoring all the films past the first one,” McBride said, confirming the newest Halloween will erase the last nine movies. “It picks up after the first one, but it’s sort of an alternate reality. It’s as if the first Halloween ended in a slightly different way.”

Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her 1978 role as Laurie Strode. Curtis returned for 1980’s Halloween II and 1998’s Halloween H20: 20 Years Later before reviving the character again for her death at the hands of her serial killer brother in 2002’s Halloween: Resurrection.
