Girls Trip starring Regina King is now casting extras in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Girls Trip starring Regina Hall is now casting extras in New Orleans, Louisiana. Filming will take place throughout New Orleans, Louisiana from July 1st through mid-August. The movie centers around the Essence Fest and all of the exciting things that happen during the festival. Casting directors are looking for all ethnicities and ages, especially African American men and women who appear to be in their 30’s to 50’s.


About Girls Trip:

Girls Trip will be directed by Malcolm Lee (Barbershop, Best Man Holiday) and executive produced by Will Packer (Straight Outta Compton, Ride Along, Think Like A Man). Girls Trip centers on four lifelong friends who travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival. Sisterhoods are rekindled, wild sides are rediscovered, and there’s enough dancing, drinking, brawling and romancing to make the Big Easy blush.

*** NOW CASTING A NEW MOVIE, “GIRL TRIP” ***

We are beginning to start the casting for the new Universal Studios film, “Girl Trip”! This feature is being directed by Malcolm Lee (Barbershop, Best Man Holiday) and executive produced by Will Packer (Straight Outta Compton, Ride Along, Think Like A Man).

Filming will take place throughout New Orleans from July 1st through mid-August. A large part of this film surrounds Essence Fest and all of the fun throughout the city during the festival. We will be looking for all ethnicities and ages, especially African American looking who appear to be in their 30’s-50’s.

You must be registered with us to work on the movie. If you haven’t registered already, it’s FREE to do. Just come to our office dressed to impress along with your I9 identification on Mondays-Thursdays at 10 am or 2pm:
