“From Dusk Till Dawn” Casting Call for Two Stand-ins this Tuesday in Austin, Texas

Casting directors are looking for stand-ins to work on the Robert Rodriguez TV series “From Dusk Till Dawn” filming in Austin, Texas.

Beth Sepko Casting posted a casting call looking for caucasian and African American actors to work this Tuesday, March 4th. They are looking for talents that can work late Tuesday night until early Wednesday, March 5th.
The English-language El Rey – which is set to premiere this December nation-wide with initial carriage via Comcast – would air From Dusk Till Dawn as its first scripted series. Robert Rodriguez, is heavily involved in getting the network off the ground, will be writing, producing and directing the From Dusk Till Dawn series himself. The series will expand on the story and characters from his original film and providing more Aztec mythology. There has not been a report if the two sequels will be included in the television series since, Robert Rodriguez only worked as a producer on those projects.

Third Coast Extras is accepting submissions for 2 specific stand-ins on Robert Rodriguez’s TV Series “From Dusk Till Dawn,” for an OVERNIGHT shoot in downtown Austin Tuesday, March 4th. Estimated call time will be LATE Tuesday night and will go all night until early morning Wednesday, March 5th

Stand-in or on-set experience preferred, but not required. Please share with anyone who fits these!

* “3/4 Night SI 2″ – Caucasian male, 6’3”-6’5”, brown or red hair, average to muscular build, ages 20’s-50’s

*”3/4 Night SI 3″ – African American male, 5’9”-5’11”, bald, average to muscular build, ages 20’s-40’s

Pay rate is $125/12hr.

Include name, age, phone #, location (Austin?), height/weight and attach plenty of clear, well-lit, high resolution current photos both close up AND full length. Please list any stand-in or on-set experience you might have.

IMPORTANT: Must be Texas resident w/ valid Texas ID who lives in (or at least close nearby) to Austin, TX since shoots days can change at the last minute and call times are likely very early or late night. Please don’t submit if you’re not local to the area or nearby.
