We are currently seeking background actors for the feature film “Jiminy,” which will be shooting in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area. Applicants must be available to work locally as this is a local hire position. The shoot days typically last approximately 12 hours.
Featured Background Roles:
- Construction Worker
- Gender: Male
- Age Range: 35-50
- Character Brief: Seeking individuals with a blue-collar, rugged construction worker appearance typical of a rural setting.
- Woman Driver
- Gender: Female
- Age Range: 35-50
- Character Brief: Looking for a female who can portray being stressed and upset, ideally someone who can convincingly depict being caught in a traffic jam during a mass evacuation due to a fire in a small town.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow directions from the director and crew.
- Participate in scenes as directed, potentially for long hours on set.
- Maintain professional behavior and a positive attitude under potentially stressful conditions.
- Be prepared for weather conditions and wardrobe requirements corresponding to the scenes being filmed.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work as a local hire in Santa Fe, NM.
- Previous acting experience is advantageous but not required.
- Must have the flexibility to work long days, typically around 12 hours.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well.
Compensation Details:
- Pay rate is $117.00 for the first 8 hours of work.
- Overtime payment at a rate of time and a half is applicable after 8 hours of work per day.
