Children of the Corn: Runaway is now casting kid actors in Oklahoma.

Casting directors are now casting kid actors to work on an upcoming scene in the new movie, CHILDREN OF THE CORN: RUNAWAY, which is filming in Okarche, Oklahoma. Filming will take place on Thursday, June 30th. Casting directors are casting the following roles:

BREAKDOWN OF ROLES:

  • KIDS – Ages 12-17.  Simple, Amish-looking kids.  No crazy hair, but longer or shaggier, more 1970s-style hair preferred.
  • MALACHI – Male, redhead, tall and lanky, to play 17 or 18 years old.  This is a match of the 1970s character from the Stephen King book.

About CHILDREN OF THE CORN: RUNAWAY:

The plot of Children of the Corn: Runaway follows a young pregnant Ruth who escapes a murderous child cult in a small Midwestern town. She spends the next decade living anonymously in an attempt to spare her son the horrors that she experienced as a child. She lands in the small Oklahoma town, but something is following her. Now, she must confront this evil or lose her child.

The film is the next sequel in the popular horror franchise, and stars Marci Miller, Jake Ryan Scott, Lynn Andrews and Mary Kathryn Judkins.  It is directed by John Gulager.

Kids Needed Thursday for More Filming of  CHILDREN OF THE CORN: RUNAWAY

Kids are needed tomorrow, Thursday, June 30 in the afternoon to appear in the feature film CHILDREN OF THE CORN: RUNAWAY.  Filming will either be in Okarche or Jones, Oklahoma. The scenes are for additional photography for the film that shot in Oklahoma earlier this year.

The film is the next sequel in the popular horror franchise, and stars Marci Miller, Jake Ryan Scott, Lynn Andrews and Mary Kathryn Judkins.  It is directed by John Gulager.

Call time will be in the afternoon and should last until sunset.

Pay for each child is $50.  There is no compensation for travel.
