Chicago Casting: Fox TV Pilot ‘Controversy’ is Now Hiring Stand-ins

Fox’s Controversy TV pilot is now hiring stand-ins in Chicago, Illinois.

Fox’s new TV pilot is now hiring stand-ins to interview for a photo double job in Chicago, Illinois. Casting directors are casting and hiring several actors to work on the project. Interviews start this Friday and final interviews will take place on Tuesday, March 14th.

About Controversy:

According to Variety, Fox’s new TV pilot Controversy centers around a prestigious Illinois university that must deal with an out-of-control scandal when a young co-ed accuses several star football players of sexual assault. From the football coaches and boosters who wield outsize influence, to a university administration under siege, the series explores the type of high-profile controversy all-too familiar on today’s college campuses, as well as the corrosive, dangerous nature of institutional power.

1ST INTERVIEW DATE: Friday, 3/10 @ 11:00AM w/the AD Team
2ND INTERVIEW DATE: Tuesday, 3/14 (with Director of Photography)

LOCATION: Chicago
We are looking for stand-ins for each of the characters listed below for the pilot, which starts filming on 3/16 and runs to 4/4:

1) Cassie (Erin Moriaty)
Female, Caucasian, Age: 22 – 32, 5’6”’, 120lbs, Dark Blonde Hair

2) Matt (Austin Stowell)
Male, Caucasian, Age: 25 – 40, 6’2’, Athletic Build, Dishwater
Blonde to Brown Hair

3) Coach Scarmucchi (Ben Koldyke)
Male, Caucasian, Age: 35 – 55, 6’1”, 190lbs, Brown Hair

Please submit the below info to [email protected]:
1) Put “NAME OF STAND-IN” in the subject line of your email.
PLEASE WRITE THE NAME OF THE CHARACTER YOU ARE SUBMITTING TO BE A STAND IN FOR NEXT TO THE WORD STAND IN.
Ex. “Cassie Stand-in”
2) Include your name, age range, height, weight, phone number, current zip code and email address.
3) Send 2 RECENT candid photos in jpeg format (both close up and full length). Make sure the photo is taken in decent lighting (no selfies), no sunglasses, no hats! Show us your style but make sure we can see your face! The better the photo, the better your chance of being submitted.
Most importantly… Please rename your photo with your FIRST and LAST name. Right click on the photo and it will give you an option to re-name the file, Re-name it with your full name.
4) Confirm your mode of transportation
5) Tell us if you have worked as a stand-in before and if so, what show/project you stood in for.
6) Complete the master survey that runs from 2/27 to 3/14 (if you haven’t already).
7) Confirm you are available for the interview dates. Give us an idea of your availability during filming from March 16th to April 4th – Open, Extremely Flexible, Flexible, Limited. You may not work every day, but the more availability you have, the better chance of being chosen.
