Danny Sullivan (Tom Holland) is the protagonist of "The Crowded Room," a figure based loosely on the real-life Billy Milligan, who was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder and was the first person to be acquitted of a crime of insanity. In reality, Milligan was caught and accused of assaulting, kidnapping, and raping three women in 1977. However, after a thorough psychiatric evaluation, it became clear that Milligan had 24 different personalities. As a result, the court found him not guilty of his crimes.

"The Crowded Room" is an anthology series with a gripping story and an all-star cast.
