‘American Express’ Movie Chicago Casting Call for Mothers

American Express is now casting grieving mothers in Chicago, Illinois.

American Express is now casting African American actresses to play a grieving mother in a featured role in the movie. Filming will take place on Tuesday, March 8th in Lisle, Illinois near Benedictine University.

Casting directors are looking for “African American Female, Ages 65-80, must be okay filming outside in March.”


About American Express:

Details have not been released but the movie will be produced, financed, and distributed by Amazon Studios. American Express will star David Oyelowo, Joel Edgerton, Amanda Seyfried, and Thandie Newton.

LOCATION: Lisle, IL near Benedictine University
RATE: $80/8
ROLES: Grieving Mother
AGES 65 -80
African American Female, Ages 65-80, must be okay filming outside in March.

3) Send a RECENT candid photo in jpeg format – close up and full length – Make sure the photo is taken in decent lighting (no selfies), no sunglasses, no hats!. Show us your style but make sure we can see your face! If you are able, please send us a photo that best represents the role you are submitting for.
The better the photo, the better your chance of being submitted.
*NOTE: NAME YOUR JPEG PHOTO WITH YOUR FULL NAME!!!
Right click on the photo and it will give you an option to re-name the file, Re-name it with your full name.

4) Let us know if you have submitted for any other roles or stand-ins, etc for this project.

5) Confirm that you are available to work the date and that you have transportation to the location.
