FX and Ryan Murphy are expanding the American Horror Story franchise to create another anthology series but, focused on the biggest true crimes in history.
the new series, American Crime Story, is launching with one of the most famous cases of the past few decades: the murder trial of O.J. Simpson. FX has given a 10-episode, straight-to-series order to American Crime Story: The People Vs. O.J. Simpson. [Deadline>
The first installment will be based on the book ‘The Run of His Life: The People V. O.J. Simpson’ by Jeffrey Toobin. The series will be directed by Murphy from a script by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski from The People Vs. Larry Flynt. Casting directors are now casting featured roles to work on a scene filming on Thursday, July 9th. To audition for a role, check out the casting call details below:

She is looking for African American, Hispanic and Caucasian looking women, who appear to be in their 20's or 40s who can appear to be the stereotypical "gangster girlfriend". Looking for women who can play up this role and who can go all out, who have the wardrobe/make up to match, who have tattoos on the arms / face, or piercings, possibly women who can apply the stereotypical "chola" make up.
