ABC ‘American Crime’ Extras Casting Call in San Marcos, Texas

ABC’s new series ‘American Crime’ is currently casting extras for an upcoming scene filming in San Marcos, Texas.

American Crime centers on a racially charged murder the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the people involved in the crime. The case gets bigger and bigger, becoming a point of conversation in America’s views on race, class and gender politics. The series is written and executive produced by Oscar Winning Screenplay writer John Ridley.

On Location Casting is looking for extras to play inmates and police officers on Friday, August 8th.

AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – ABC series ‘American Crime’ for work on FRIDAY 8/8/14.

*MUST HAVE PROOF of TEXAS RESIDENCY such as TXDL, TXID, TEXAS COLLEGE ID, OR TX Voters registration card

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $58.00 for 8 hours ($7.25/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 7-10 business days AFTER you work.

We do NOT have any Call Times yet so you would need to be available ALL DAY/evening. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!

Location is in the SAN MARCOS, TX area.

*EXTRAS*:
INMATES: male, all ethnicities, age range 20-55, rough around the edges (okay if you have worked as one before), up to 6’2 tall and 36″ waist for wardrobe purposes. *please specify when submitting

CLASS C DEPUTIES: male, all ethnicities, age range 20-5, military or law enforcement experience preferred (okay if you have worked as one before) *please specify when submitting

STRIP SEARCH DEPUTY: Male, all ethnicities, preferably someone who has experience doing Strip searches

INFIRMARY NURSE: male or female, all ethnicities, prefer someone who has medical experience *please specify when submitting
