50 Cent is Now Looking for Aspiring Actors and Filmmakers

50 Cent's G-Unit Film & Television is looking for aspiring filmmakers, comedians, models and actors!

50 Cent is one of the most popular entertainers in the TV, film and music industry. His recent success includes the hit TV series Power. Created by Courtney Kemp Agboh and produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, the show premiered in 2014. The show ended up being a hit.

Tim Goodman of The Hollywood Reporter observed in his review, "Power seemingly wants to be a show that tells a big, complicated, meaningful story about, well, the perils and problems of power and how one man deals with them."

Now the world famous celebrity is looking for aspiring filmmakers, comedians, and actors for an upcoming production. 50 Cent has launched a talent search for the following:

Have you created and ALREADY POSTED an EXISTING ORIGINAL VIRAL VIDEO THAT YOU SHOT AND EDITED that is currently going viral or went viral in the past twelve (12) months?  Can you make more that I might find entertaining? Do you own and control the rights to a video that has captured an incredible unexpected event, a special talent, a pet or wild animal and/or some other spontaneous moment in time that is so unique and entertaining, it can't be categorized?  By VIRAL, I mean something that already has more than 25,000 verifiable views and was posted to YouTube or Vimeo before July 15, 2017, not something you believe could go viral if I post it.

Have you written, produced and/or filmed a COMEDY SKETCH that everyone likes? By everyone, I mean strangers who saw or read it and actually laughed - not your friends, family or teachers.  I’m looking for creative people who use sketch comedy in a way that transcends gender, race, age, religious belief, politics, and socio-economic background. Think about what Chappelle's Show or In Living Color would look like if it launched today. Sketches include: (i) Parodies of Television Commercials, TV Shows or Movies; (ii) Bits Featuring Original Characters; (iii) Situational Comedy Bits; (iv) Slapstick; and/or (v) Any Combo of SamePlease don’t send me trash, I only want to look at ONE example of YOUR VERY BEST work.

Do you have a really good celebrity impression of a Highly Recognizable Celebrity or Music Artist?  Voice impressions are cool too, because they can be used in animated bits.  I’m not looking for you to become a celebrity impersonator, I want people who have real-life experience doing impressions or even acting as a body double for famous celebrities.

Are you a talented stand-up comedian that can make people laugh inside an actual Comedy Club?  Have one or more of your performances been featured on an actual television or film project?  Is your comedy funny to people of all races, genders and backgrounds?  If so, publicly upload a recent stand-up routine you did in a real comedy club or from a television or motion picture film project you were featured in. By “Comedy Club, I mean a joint where people pay to come see you and that sells liquor to an audience.  By “TV Special” I mean something that actually aired on broadcast television (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX), network cable (the kind where you pay per month), a paid streaming service (i.e. Netflix, Hulu, etc.) or a motion picture screened in a real movie theatre.

Before I say anything about this topic, PLEASE DO NOT FILM OR ASK ANYONE TO FILM A NEW HIDDEN CAMERA BIT OR PRANK FOR ME TO LOOK AT.  I WILL NOT VIEW IT.  If you have previously shot a hidden camera or prank bit and publicly posted it before July 15, 2017 on YouTube or Vimeo AND we can verify that you posted it before reading this form, send me the link.

Are you an animator?  Have you animated any short pieces involving pop culture, celebrities or music artists that can be publicly uploaded on YouTube or Vimeo?   If so send me the link. I’m looking for people who can animate funny shit that is too outrageous, expensive or difficult to film in real life.  I’m also looking to find the creator of the next big animated series.  Don’t send me weird conceptual stuff, I want to see something that shows your skills as animator and content creator.

Let’s be honest, Magic is for the most part a white people thing. I want to make it an “every-person” thing by adding some diversity to the world of magic. If you have some real experience doing magic AND have found a way to make it organically urban or hip-hop, I want to see what you can do.  Please send me an existing and publicly accessible YouTube/Vimeo clip of your best magic.

It’s time for me to cast my own G-UNIT DANCE SQUAD.  If you are a legit dancer with proper training and real skills, send me a publicly uploaded link to your reel so that I can see what you got.   There are no other pre-requisites.  I just want the best of the best.

Do you have an original joint that you want me to listen to or do you want to showcase your talents by doing a cover of an existing track by any artist? Do you think you can shoot a better version of an incredibly popular music video?  Then publicly upload your clip to YouTube or Vimeo and send me the link.  If you suck, please don’t send the link.  If I actually take the time to watch it and it’s terrible, I might let everyone know how bad it is, which could kill your dreams.

Do you act or model professionally?  By professionally, I mean in things where you are paid to do it and have some real credits I can look at.  If so, send me a link to your talen reel.  No freaky stuff please, this is for legitimate acting and modeling roles.
