NBC’s Chicago PD season 5 is now casting extras for a major episode in Chicago, Illinois.
NBC’s Chicago PD is looking for extras to work on an upcoming episode filming on Monday, August 1st through Thursday, August 11th. Casting directors are looking for extras to work on “Neighborhood community scenes, Basketball courts, Kids playing in water, Gang Hang out, Crime Scene, etc.” set in Southside, Chicago.

NBC’s Chicago PD centers on the Intelligence team located at the District 21 of the Chicago Police department. This team fights the city’s major offenses including organized crime, drug trafficking, and high profile murders.

This episode centers around the tension between a Southside Chicago neighborhood and the Chicago Police Department during the hottest day of the summer. Various Neighborhood scenes include: Neighborhood community scenes, Basketball courts, Kids playing in water, Gang Hang out, Crime Scene, etc.

SUBMISSION TITLE: “SOUTHSIDERS”
FILMS: Films MULTIPLE days from August 1st-August 11th (It is not mandatory that you are available for ALL dates)
ROLES: African American men, women and children, all shapes and sizes, to make up Southside neighborhood. All ages encouraged to submit. Submit to work with your car or bicycle! *Any minor under the age of 16 YO must obtain a work permit. Please following the link below for instructions and required documents. (If you already have a valid “Tail Sticks Casting” OR “Empire Casting Co” work permit please attach a copy of it to your submission.) In your submission, please list any dates you are not available between 8/1-8/11.
PAY RATE: $84/8 hours and time and one half for anything after that. If you have a wardrobe fitting prior to film date = +$25 Bump. If booked with your bike = +$15 Bump, If booked with your car = +$35 Bump.
SUBMISSION TITLE: “SKWAD”
FILMS: MON. 8/1, WEDS. 8/3, THURS. 8/4, & FRI. 8/5 (It is not mandatory that you are available for ALL dates)
ROLES: African American MEN, Ages: 16-30s, to play Gangster Disciples and West Side Boys. Applicants should be tough/intimidating looking and be comfortable being in a tank top or shirt-less… The director will be selecting some people to be featured on camera, so please send clear, well-lit photos to increase your chances of being on camera! In your submission, please list any dates you are not available between 8/1-8/11.

SUBMISSION TITLE: “VELVET”
FILMS: WEDS. 8/3
ROLES: African American GIRLS, Ages 9-16YO (to-look-younger) to be part of an after-school basketball team. Should have at least some basketball skills. When submitting, please describe your daughter’s basketball skills as best you can. *One girl will be selected to be a featured non-speaking character. Again, all children (under 16) must have a valid work permit through Tail Sticks Casting or Empire Casting Company. Please following the link below for instructions and required documents. ROLES: Looking for folks who are interested in playing a drug addict. M/F, African American, Ages: 21-older. When submitting photos, get into character. Should be rough/unkempt. No makeup/neatly styled hair.

SUBMISSION TITLE: “CLARENCE KIDS”
FILMS: FRI. 8/5
ROLES: Looking for CAUCASIAN males; Ages: 18-early 20 (to-look-younger), to play featured teen passengers in a car (for a buying drugs scenario) who are friends of a dayplayer actor.
PAY RATE: $84/8 hours and time and one half for anything after that. If you have a wardrobe fitting prior to film date = +$25 Bump.
