PlayStation is Now Looking for Aspiring Filmmakers

Date:

PlayStation wants to fund your TV pilot idea.

PlayStation is teaming up with We Make to bring an incredible opportunity for the future generation of storytellers and filmmakers and help them create the next iconic show. The PlayStation Emerging Filmmakers Program is an initiative that paves a path from the creator’s vision to a final platform.

  • Filmmakers are invited to submit their best television show ideas.
  • The top ten will pitch their ideas directly to PlayStation executives and industry professionals.
  • The top five entrants will see their ideas produced as a pilot with the possibility of the pilot getting the green light for a series production.

Here’s what you can win:

  1. Round 1: The top 50 submissions each earn $250.
  2. Round 2: The top 10 submissions each earn $1,000 plus a trip to pitch your idea to PlayStation executives and industry professionals.
  3. Round 3: The top 5 submissions each earn $5,000, a produced pilot, and a producer credit in the pilot. This includes travel to the pilot shoot and working with a production crew to bring their vision to life.

Over $500,000 in total will go towards the production of pilots.

The deadline to submit is August 1st. To apply click here.
