Mark Hamill tells fans to lower their Star Wars: The Force Awakens expectations
Mark Hamill asks for Darth Vader fans to lower their expectations in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie
: "It's just a movie".
If there is one movie this year that have extremely high expectations, it's Star Wars: The Force Awakens
. Not only is it the first Star Wars movie in over 10 years but, it's the first film to come from Disney without any involvement from the Star Wars creator, George Lucas.
Recently, Mark Hamill told Hero Complex
about the back stage security and the fear of movie leaks.
“First of all, the security. We had problems before with people leaking stuff, but I was saying to them, ‘Is it really necessary to put on this giant robe with a hood that hangs down to your chest to go from my trailer to the soundstage?’ They said, ‘Drones.’ I said, ‘You’re kidding! Really?'”
But, Mark Hamill
says that people have extremely high expectations and should really lower them.
“Believe me, it will be here before you know it,” he said to the fans who are really excited about the movie. “Forget about it, that’s my advice. Look forward to all the summer movies. I’m telling you, it’s just a movie. These people that build it up in their minds like it’s going to be the second coming of, I don’t know what — they’re bound to be disappointed.”
