J.K. Rowling Releases a New Harry Potter Chapter and Character

J.K. Rowling reveals a new Harry Potter chapter and character

J.K. Rowling has continued to add new characters to the Harry Potter Universe. This Monday, Rowling released a new story about a new side character, a half-Muggle soul singer named Celestina Warbeck.

“Although we never lay eyes on Celestina during the whole seven volumes of the Potter books, I always imagined her to resemble Shirley Bassey in both looks and style,” Rowling illustrated the new character bio on her website Pottermore.com.

“I stole her first name from a friend with whom I worked, years ago, at Amnesty International's Headquarters in London; ‘Celestina’ was simply begging to be scooped up and attached to a glamorous witch.”

According to TheWrap, Warbeck is Molly Weasley's favorite singer, and the voice of such hits as “You Charmed the Heart Right Out of Me” and “A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love.” She also had a massive global hit album called “You Stole My Cauldron but You Can't Have My Heart.”

The new character is part of the expanding Harry Potter Universe and will most likely tie into the several Wizarding World of Harry Potter amusement parks.
