HBO’s “The Righteous Gemstones” is now hiring background actors to work on scenes filming this week in Charleston, South Carolina. Casting directors are looking for families, stand-ins, extras with vehicles, and more.
About HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones:
Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals) is returning to HBO with his latest project, The Righteous Gemstones. The new comedy centers around a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work — all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. McBride will star as main character Jesse Gemstone, who sees himself as a maverick in the ministry game, taking what his father, Eli Gemstone, has built and expanded it for a more modern audience. In addition to playing Jesse, McBride will also serve as a writer, director and executive producer on the series. (Via)

THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES (Charleston)-NEEDING THIS WEEK:
MON. 4/29 -Female Stand In for small child. Should be short/slender with dark blonde/light brown hair. (location Ravenel)
TUES 4/30 & WED 5/1 – ( 80’s Party Extras) 1 African American Female Mom, 3 Dads (must be clean shaven), 4 Caterers (Males and Females). ALL RACES NEEDED.
NEEDED BOTH DATES.
TUES 4/30 -WED 5/1 -May need several Extras with 80’s VEHICLES. Can use late 70’s/early 90’s vehicles .
Vehicles should be in good shape. Paid an additional $150 for your vehicle.
THURS. 5/2 -MAIL MAN -Must fit period wardrobe (15 Neck, 34 waist, shoe 10 -no wiggle room in these sizes).
THURS. 5/2 -DOG WALKER -Should have a friendly, well behaved dog that is current on all vacinations. Send photo of yourself as well as dog.
THURS. 5/2 -Several extras with 80’s vehicles to portray neighbors. Paid an additional $150 for your vehicle.
