Netflix’s Glow shares tips for aspiring actors.

Glow is a hit Netflix TV series created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensh. The show revolves around a group of women who join the 1980s syndicated women’s professional wrestling circuit, the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling or GLOW originally created by David McLane. The first season features 10 episodes and was released last June 2017. On August 10, 2017, Netflix renewed the series for a second season of 10 episodes.

In a recent interview with the cast of GLOW, Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Kate Nash, Kimmy Gatewood, Brit Baron, Rebekka Johnson, Sunita Mani, Marianna Palka, Kia Stevens and Chris Lowell sat down with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation to discuss their approach to the show, acting advice for aspiring actors, and lessons they learned while making the hit TV series. For example, the cast shares how being an actress in Hollywood can be difficult due to the type of roles given to them, as a result GLOW allowed for women to showcase their skills in a different way not normally seen in traditional Hollywood productions.
