3 Fox TV Pilots To Film in Chicago This Year

Date:

Three Fox TV pilots will film in Chicago this spring.

According to reports, Fox TV is investing in Chicago’s film industry by filming three TV pilots in Chi-Town.

The network has ordered three one-hour pilots to be produced in Chicago starting this March until April, which is an increase of 33% from last year.

According to Reel Chicago, one of the pilots is a dramatic thriller, the other is an off beat police drama and the third is a medical procedural drama.

All three TV pilots are produced under the 20th Century Fox TV company and could spend an estimated $16.5 million on production and employ nearly 500 crew members.

“We’ve been preparing for this tsunami for months, interviewing and training people to do the shows with great crews,” says Local 476 president Brad Matthys, “and it’s paying off.”
