Date:

Human Rights Campaign shares video of celebrities honoring the 49 victims of the Orlando shooting.

June 12th changed Orlando, Florida forever. A lone gunman walked into a gay nightclub with an assault rifle and started shooting unsuspecting nightclub goers. Since then, it has turned into a national debate about gay rights, gun rights, terrorism, and mental health. However, we have heard little about the victims of such a massacre.

But, the Human Rights Campaign, produced by Ryan Murphy, brought together 49 different celebrities to share the stories of these victims. The stories reflect the wide backgrounds of those who died ranging from computer scientists to reporters.

It’s tragic and sad but, a necessary remind that people can do horrific things.

Here’s all of the celebrities who participated in the video: Lady Gaga, Chris Pine, Cuba Gooding Jr., Connie Britton, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Lea Michele, Colton Haynes, Sophia Bush, Jane Fonda, Harry Shum Jr., Denis O’Hare, Rob Reiner, Melissa Benoist, Caitlyn Jenner, Édgar Ramírez, Max Greenfield, Chaz Bono, Cheyenne Jackson, Emma Roberts, Kerry Washington, George Lopez, Evan Rachel Wood, Sofia Vergara, Diego Boneta, Nina Jacobson, Demi Lovato, Tyler Oakley, Yeardley Smith, Kid Cudi, Kaitlin Olson, Kevin McHale, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lee Daniels, Chace Crawford, Evan Peters, Gerard Butler, Katey Sagal, John Stamos, Laverne Cox, Jordana Brewster, Wes Bentley, Finn Wittrock, Darren Criss, Kathy Bates, Anna Paquin, Guillermo Díaz, and Joe Mantello.
