Production company Swirl Films will begin filming the new movie “The Dempsey Sisters” next week in Wilmington, North Carolina.
According to Star News Online, the film is about members of a singing group who are following their dreams.
NCasting is currently seeking talent for various roles on the upcoming feature film.

Hey guys, I feel like its been a long time since I posted any casting calls… okay maybe only a week or two but for me that’s forever… I am looking for extras for the latest GMC Network film The Dempsey Sisters…
The cast includes Cymphonique Miller, Denyce Lawton, Antwon Tanner, Taj Enfinit, Valarie Pettiford, Lynn Whitfield, Clifton Powell, MC Lyte, Dominic Santana and Mama Dee.
For tomorrow in the Wilmington area I need two “ATTRACTIVE AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN” in their late 20’s to early 30’s… you will need a wife beater, jean shorts and timberland boots…
I also need “PARTY GUESTS” any ethnicity in their late 20’s to mid 30’s, you will need to dress middle class.
Unfortunately tomorrow’s work is unpaid. However we have plenty of food and drinks and it’s a smaller set so you can to be a little more up close and personal with the cast and crew. This will be airing on tv in a few months.
This particular production company shoots an average of a feature film a month for networks including GMC and BET. And we do all of our casting in house… so come play with us and make some good contacts.
