A Dog’s Purpose Los Angeles premiere was canceled after TMZ leaked a video allegedly depicting animal cruelty.

The weekend premiere of A Dog’s Purpose has been canceled after allegations of animal cruelty on set of the feature film. The controversy of the feature film stemmed from a video that surfaced earlier this week. The video appears to show a scared German Shepherd being forced into a pool of water intended to simulate a raging river for one of the movie’s planned scenes.
