10 Highest Paid Comedians in Hollywood 2015

Date:

Here are the 10 highest paid comedians currently working in Hollywood.

If you ever wanted to become a comedian, then here is the perfect list for you. We always see our favorite celebrities in front of camera or packing out stand up shows, but how much do they get paid? Well, the answer may surprise.

Quick question – how who is the highest paid comedian in Hollywood? You would automatically assume that Kevin Hart is the highest paid comedian in Hollywood. However, you would be WRONG.

It is important to note that a large majority of comedians make most of their money through concert ticket sales and live comedy shows. And not from feature films or TV deals.

For example, Kevin Hart on average draws crowds of 8,000 people to arenas. Meanwhile, Jeff Dunham draws crowds every night in Las Vegas.

According to a new report by Forbes.com, Jerry Seinfeld is still the king of comedy. The co-creator of Seinfeld and stand-up comedian announced that he has earned $36 million in 2015.

Here is the standards by which Forbes.com ranks their celebrities:

The minimum for the 11 comedians who made our list was $7.5 million. The list measures earnings before subtracting management fees and taxes between June 1. 2014 and June 1, 2015. Figures are based on data from Nielson, IMDB and other sources, as well as on interviews with agents, managers, lawyers, industry insiders and the stars themselves.

While some of the comedians will be obvious, others will be a major surprise.

Here are the 10 highest paid comedians this year.
