The Oscar-nominated actor who has been known to break up street fights, save the lives of pedestrians, and fight on the mean streets of the campaign trail, Ryan Gosling is setting up to direct his first feature film, “How to Catch a Monster.” and he is currently holding an open call for all aspiring actors.

“How to Catch a Monster” will star Christina Hendricks, is a film actually written by the Oscar nominated actor and is set to start filming this upcoming spring, according to the Los Angeles Times. “The film, set in what a news release described as a “surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city,” follows a single mother whose teenage son uncovers a frightening and mysterious underwater town.”

The film, set in what a news release described as a “surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city,” follows a single mother whose teenage son uncovers a frightening and mysterious underwater town.

Ryan Gosling has always showed an interest in this genre of films. For example, his band with Zach Shields often times perform songs about ghosts, and once filmed a music video in a cemetery. This music video definitely illustrates the direction Ryan Gosling plans to have for the upcoming “How to Catch a Monster” feature film.

The film is centered on “elements of fantasy noir, horror and suspense into a modern day fairytale. Set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city, Billy, a single mother of two, is swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while Bones, her 18-yr-old son, discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Both Billy and Bones must dive deep into the mystery, if their family is to survive.”

In order to expand the search for actors in this upcoming motion picture, Jennifer Venditti and Ryan Gosling have decided to hold a an open Casting Call and are currently casting for two different roles.

The first role is Bones:

  • “He is an introspective loner with an active imagination. His challenging home life has toughned him, but he still clings to childhood fantasies. Balancing melancholy intensity with an innocent sense of wonder, he is driven by a strong desire to face his fears. Soulful, offbeat and quietly charismatic.
  • Character should be caucasian or multi-ethnic, his mother is white and his father could be any ethnicity.

The Second Role is Frankie:

  • A “feral” like boy who is constantly getting into trouble for trying to escape his school and house. Quiet and withdrawn but with an expressive face and deeply active internal life. Almost reminiscent of a silent film character.
  • SUBMIT REEL ONLY AT THIS TIME. NO SELF TAPED AUDITION REQUIRED

“How to Catch a Monster” is a Marc Platt Productions, Phantasma Productions, in association with Bold Films and the film will be filmed in Detroit, Michigan.

I am very intersted in this. to be honest any consideration would be mint. I think I should be considered because through out all the events of my life I have allways pushed and strived to be better. I am constantly looking for new ways to push myself. In 2008 I created a film production company that can work with children from the care sector. The reason for this is because I dont want to be just a great actor. But I also want to be a great role model. I come from childrens homes myself and there is nothing more important to me than proving that dreams can come true. So if you give me a shot I promise i will not let you down. Please take a look at my showreel.

  2. Wondering if you may need any girls for any roles? I’ve been working on Nashville and ready to do more!

  3. Cade King says:

Acting is my life. It’s all I know, it’s all I have done, and it is all I plan to do. Ever since I was little I found my home performing. I think I would be exceptional for the role of Bones because growing up I didn’t really have anyone. My parents divorced before I could talk, and I always could count the number of friends I had on one hand. I don’t mind being alone. Just because someone is alone doesn’t mean they are lonely. It just mean that they have yet to find someone who thinks like they do. Performing is my creative outlet, and it’s what has made me the person I am today. Attached is short film. Thank you for your consideration.

  4. Ashley w says:

I could play the role of bones better than any man could. I have a very expressive face you could tell what I’m thinking by looking at me, you can sense how I’m feeling by the look in my eyes. I’m quiet but if you know me I’m real, loud, and honest to the T. I’m 20 years old with a fresh look, nothing to out standing but pretty and it brings you in.

  5. Ilia Constantine says:

Hi! I am interesting in role Frankie, this is link on my Back Stage resume:

  6. I would love to be a part of this movie, however big or small. I love Ryan Gosling, he is so Talented and I have the utmost Respect for him. I would be honored just to be a part of this Movie. My name is Sammy, I am 19, and Acting is my Passion, it is the only thing I want to do in Life. I am by no means a Veteran Actor, but everyone has to start somewhere, and I know in my heart that I am a Talented Actor. I have so far only gotten Background work, because I am just starting out, but I know this is only the beginning. Thanks in advance for your consideration. Sammy Kressevich

  7. Brian Butler says:

Acting is my passion and I have been doing it my whole life. This looks like it will be a wonderful movie and it would be the greatest privilege for me to be a part of this.

I also love Ryan Gosling’s work and feel that he will make a great film. I have done background work in one of his films before, Crazy, Stupid, Love. Here is a snapshot, I am the guy with the long brown hair and the purple shirt on the right side of the frame:

    http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/304146_10150346882207725_2068246937_n.jpg

I too, am an actor, director, and songwriter. And I greatly admire Ryan for his success and ambition in these mediums. Below I will provide links to some videos of myself that you might like to consider for one of your roles in this film.

Be warned of the adult language and nudity in this clip. It is a remake of a scene from Nicholas Windig Refn’s film Bronson, and is presented here uncensored, with me playing all of the characters:

Here is another clip you might like to consider for the character of Frankie. I love silent films and character acting, and this video shows off some of my ability to express feelings of darkness with my face and body:

  8. Amanda Corrigan says:

My son Mitchell James would be perfect for the role of Frankie!! He’s a Canadian that’s an off beat old soul type. You would instantly fall in love with the talent he has and tenacious attitude I am so proud of. Take the time to contact me and I’ll be sure to send off what is needed. He truly is an amazing talent inside and out

  9. Radames Uriel Gutierrez says:

My name is Radames I would like a shot at the role of Bones. I’m 21 and finishing up college looking for a way into the business. I could look Caucasian, Italian, French, Middle eastern but I am hispanic. Here is my email radames_gutierrez@yahoo.com all I need is an address and audition time and I’ll be there. Also Ryan Gosling is amazing, I’d like to grab some tacos at a food truck with him and pick his brain.

  10. John Canales says:

    Dear Casting Director ,

I’m John Canales, I’m experienced and ready for work. Please see my website.

  11. jonwelch78 says:

I’ve already auditioned for A Place beyond the Pines and was simply too young, I’m from the Ottawa area but now relocated to Toronto, I’d be perfect for Bones having an Anglophone father and francophone mom, here is my extensive filmography imdb page and demo reel:

    Demo-Reel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZM3KrgWa1bY

  12. AJ Nelson says:

Hi. My name is AJ Nelson and I am ethnically embiguious. I have been a union actor for 15 years and training and working for 20. I have a wonderful family. I love to cook ,love martial arts and all animals. Ive worked with some of the best in the business. Now i am ready to be placed in parts that can put me alongside the best in the business.

  13. My name is Michael Curran-Dorsano and I’m very interested in both roles. I’m a recent graduate of Juilliard’s Drama Division, but I originally grew up in Minnesota where it was very cold and I spent a lot of time indoors and developed a love of reading. I read every fantasy/sci-fi I could get my hands on and I found my escape through my imagination.

The character of Bones is my childhood, and I’m so happy someone is making a film about him. I love myth, and when I’m not auditioning I write fantasy and sci-fi as well as plays.

The mention of Frankie as a silent film-like character jazzed me because I love clowning, physical comedy and hat tricks. I’m a very physical actor, who dances as well.

I have dreamed all my life of stepping down the wrong corridor and entering a new world.

What a cool project and a great way to find collaborators. Cheers!

  28. Colby Conrad says:

When I read the description of Bones, I felt like I was reading a description of myself. Coming from a small town in Nova Scotia, Canada, there isn’t much to do aside from sit around, smoke pot, get in the occasional fight, and fantasize about bigger, better things. I submitted my audition tape to Cast It Talent, but hopefully by posting this here the producers/casting directors will understand my deep, unrelenting desire to be a part of this film.

I’m a huge fan of Mr. Gosling’s work and I think coming from small Canadian towns would definitely help us in understanding one another, but more importantly, it would help me in understanding HIS vision.

  31. Hi there,

I am very interested in your project. I am an experienced and trained screen actor and I’ve recently starred in 3 feature films for release in 2013. 2 portrayed very real shocking subject matter & 1 was an adventure movie. I think I should be considered because I have such a passion for my craft, I pride myself on naturalistic performance utilising deep character research. In addition to my recent features, I am credited to a number of decent short films and a respected period web series which between them have had hundreds of thousands of youtube views, in addition to a number of respectable commercial campaigns.

I recently did an agent workshop with a major London/US Agency (I am happy to supply names on a less public forum) who described me as an excellent, versatile actor and who is happy to recommend me.

My latest feature, Broken Inside (Working title) which stars myself is to be entered into Cannes 2013 and is generating a lot of excitement.

  33. Joe Cipriano says:

Dear Master of All who Wish To Be Cast In This Film:

I am interested in the role of Frankie. As a kid and an actor, I have a very vivid imagination and I love to perform in films, commercials, improv or anything that allows me to try on different roles and personalities and use my imagination. In my family, I am the youngest of 3 kids. I am the comedian of my family. When I am in school, I have daydreams about escaping and going on great adventures. Acting is a way for me to escape everyday life and to try on new roles and characters and go anywhere my imagination can take me. I have been lucky enough to be cast in 2 feature films this October, 2012. One was a featured role, and the other was the young lead character. I am great at memorizing lines, and I am very professional on set. With casting this film, you are in the position to change someones life trajectory. What a great gift you have been given! I would be GRATEFUL to be a part of your new film. I hope you will consider me for this role.

    Thank you.

  64. I would love to audition as I fit the role of Bones. I am a sag-aftra member and my reel can be seen at http://www.craigscribner.com/id66.html

  65. TheArtist says:

    Hello,

I am interested in that role of Bones, i am from Europe. Why i would be considered? Not because i want to be famous, to make it in Hollywood industry, to have success, to have power, to feed my ego or anything like that, you want to now why?

Well, my answer is because acting is much more than all that to me, it’s of course a passion, but it reveals something from us human being, something that connect “US” to “THEM”, “Me” to “YOU”, “YOU” to “YOURSELF”, “ME” to “MYSELF”…yeah there is something with Arts and Artists in general, but especially with Acting who to me is the most powerful way to express ideas, to entertain and to ask questions about “US”, about who we are, and everyday i’m working on that idea that one day i can be part of that wonderful group of Artists to share with people my sensitivity and my love to this world and human kind in general.

So basically this is why i have to be considered, because i have something to say, to bring on screen, to share with all of you guys;)

Goodluck to all of you dear actors and actresses, and more than that, ARTISTS!

We all struggle about that but we have to know why we want to do that, and fight for it with a huge smile as we have choosed that path and if we keep working hard, someday, we’ll share that happiness with spectators:)

I do apologize for my english,i have less than one year practicing, i’m still working on it!haha

All the best, happy holidays and thanks for that great website i have discovered today!

    The Artist!

  66. Anthony says:

I would love to audition for this role because I’m young and would love to start my acting career. I feel like i could do this role well and i would have fun working on a professional set.

  67. Zachary Springer says:

Hi. I would love to have the opportunity to play the role of Bones because I feel that I could relate very well to the part. I like Bones am caught up in childhood dreams of becoming famous and I like to play video games. I’m 23 and a good looking (at least thats what people tell me lol) I’ve never had any acting classes or anything but I feel that I am a fairly good actor. I’ve also been told i look a little like Heath Leadger. I have been in one movie by Vitaliy Versace called “Utoya Island” and I loved making the movie more then I have anything else in my entire life. I want to be a part of SAG.

  68. Because I would set it upon myself to be nothing less than a benefit to have around. As an extra, as a supporter, as a behind the scenes helper, as a cheerleader, as an anything you need.

  69. Dr. Michael J. Fraser says:

I work as a school psychologist and have acted in summer stock.

Below is what I do as a psychologist to see if you like what the camera would need:

  70. Annie says:

Very interested. Just getting back on my feet after some dilemma’s, and would love an opportunity to get out of this shit hole I’m in right now, and channel my energy into something positive.

  71. Trevante Thomas says:

I’ve always been interested in acting, and would do anything to be a big actor. Not for money or fame, just because I feel like my talents are limited. I read the character description for Bones, and my heart started pounding. The description made me feel like it was made for me and only me. I’ve never acted before, but I feel like that with a character like Bones, who’s personality is the same as mine,it would be fitting for me to play. Personally I feel like I need this role, and won’t stop pushing until it’s mine, or it’s completly gone. I’m currently trying to get into an acting school to better my skills. I’ll push myself as far as need be.

  72. Kasra Sabery says:

Not only does the role accurately reflect aspects of my life, but as a result, I would be able to bring the upmost authentic acting skill set in order to successfully play the part. I have a strong background in wrestling, being a state ranked athlete in high school, and have been boxing as well as practicing muy thai for several years now which would bring a realistic look to any sort of fight scene. When I play parts such as this, I dont just make it another script that I read off of, I make it personal. I live the role and I make sure the audience can see that. I am a young, extremely fit college student that would be able to take on any tasks assigned. Working on this role with leaders such as Mr. Gosling would not only be a treat, but a real successful duo as well. I am known for being the first one in, the last one out, motivating others around me, and always having the can do attitude needed to produce a successful project.

    Respectively,
    Kasra Sabery

My name is Sarah McClimon and I am very interested in a part in this film. I currently live about 20 miles outside of Detroit and have a unique understand on the dynamics of this city and people.
I love the idea of playing a roll, small or large, in a film that deals with fantasy and horror – especially being filmed in Detroit, a truely vanishing city.
I understand that you are looking for characters with a unique look – I am 5’2″ and weight 101lbs. My strength would be that I can portray a sense of confidence with innocence at the same time.
I really hope there is a roll for me in this film – I look forward to hearing from you.

This sounds like a phenomenal role and story, mixing fantasy noir, and ryan gosling’s view, like a drive, it sounds like a great project to be apart of. I am 19 oldest of 5 and worked many jobs, and know this is the time to give myself a chance to put myself out there. I auditioned for the role of Bones and am very excited to see whoever they choose, good luck Jennifer Venditti hope the right characters are filled for the roles. I will be there tomorrow to shoot, and do whatever it takes. Act as if….

  99. Ashley says:

  100. Chris Roche says:

Hello my name is Chris Roche, and I am an actor that walks a very fine line between reality and surrealism. I would love to play the role of Bones, and if cast for this film, I would be greatly honored because its movies like this that don’t get enough credit, appreciation, and attention in the Hollywood spectrum, let alone the oscars. Its movies like this, that should be made more often.

  101. Brian Sexton says:

Hello, my name is Brian Sexton. I’m a 23-year-old student currently studying photojournalism and sociology out of Western Kentucky. I lack acting experience, unfortunately, but I am willing to broaden my horizons. The character, Bones, is almost a direct representation of who I am. Despite societal pressure to be socially forthright, I’ve always been somewhat socially inept. What I lack in social skills, I make up for in creativity and wit. I may be quiet, but my imagination is still intact, and I have an extremely high level of self-awareness. Visual exploration and storytelling are just a few the things I am passionate about, but thus far, I don’t feel I’ve been given the proper opportunity or outlet to demonstrate my dexterity. While I have not had any formal training, myself, I am very passionate about film, television, and music. I’m not sure I fit the desired appearance of any of the characters in this film, but if considered for a role, any role, even an minor role, I promise to give it my all.

    Thank You.

  105. Dan Vallancourt says:

The description of Bones listed above describes me word for word. I suppose everyone with an aspiration to play him would say that here, but it’s true.

I told my friends that I was auditioning and I told them about the part and they almost dropped their jaws at how well the role seemed like me.

I’ve already submitted an audition – I’d love to be considered.

  110. Brandon Skwier says:

Since I was a kid, I’ve been quoting movies. With some books, I read the characters’ lines aloud as if it were a script. It’s a way to bring a physical/emotional sense of the character(s) to life. My names Brandon and I’ve always loved acting/directing/writing/etc. I love the short synopsis of this movie because the abstruse mystery of a “surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city” seems to parallel our own reality. I also love dark fantasy and gothic nature. I’ve been told I have a vivid imagination and that I live in my own lucid dream. The character of Bones fascinates me. Mainly because he reminds me of myself by a lot. But there seems to me something bigger and more abstract that lies beyond him. I’d love to audition for him! Let me be honest, I’m no professional. I’ve never been in any big budget Hollywood production of any kind. I have made little shorts for a Media Productions class as well as have been in a few onstage productions; but that’s it. Film is my passion and a dream in the making. I love it when movies are being made in my hometown too! Good luck with everything you’re doing here! Contact me. Thanks for your time….Brandon

  111. Hello Everyone!
First off I would like to say congratulations to Ryan for directing a film!
My name is Brittany Wilkins and I am 19 years old. I know there is no casting calls for women but I would like a consideration if there were any needs for female extras or anything a long those lines! I actually live in Detroit and is a student Athlete, for swimming, at Wayne State and was excited to hear that he was filming in Detroit. I did a little acting training when I started to model this past summer for an upcoming modeling convention in Texas so I am not completely clueless. For the website I just put my Instagram link so you all could get a glimpse as to what I look like.
Hope the New Year is treating everyone well!

  115. Simon Niemtschk says:

I come from a family tree full of actors, artists, and musicians. When I went in to my last casting call my little sister got “discovered” and just finished her first movie for David gordon Green. Tye Sheridan got the part I was eyeing… he beat me out on Mud, too. But, he’s a good guy and it was meant to be. But now I’m ready to start tapping into some of my McAuliffe family talent. My mom’s grandpa was real tight with Vincent Price, they did summer theatre in Maine with all the Hollywood types. My mom is an artist who makes pictures of ghosts. I am a huge fan of Rothfuss, Williams, and Sanderson- those rich fantastic dark adventures. It’s time for me to get off the school stage. I want to be a part of bringing adventures to life.

  116. Luke Woolley says:

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D5QYbKTcn20#/ Hello. I’m am very interested in this project. The role for bones would be ok for me. Never really done much apart from my no budget films. The clip attached is just me playing all roles (excl the body double for one scene) I have lost weight since all of the videos I have made. I’m average built, beard, 27. I do live in the UK, however I’m sure we can sort that out (hmmmmm?). Eitherway I’ve done what I can at this stage. Enjoyth.

  117. My grandmother died yesterday…… I have only minimal experience as an actor but originally had planned to pursue acting. Life gets away from us though and douche bag drama teachers come our way and ruin our spirits. However, I ended up pursing music which has been good to me. I have toured professional and received attention internationally. The last set of shows I played was fly dates opening for Janes Addiction. The point about my grandmother dying is that she believed in me…..yes most parents or family are going to “believe” in their kid no matter how terrible or awkward but my grandmother never sugarcoated or wasted anyones time with nonsense or dreaming. She was practical, hardworking and carried more swag then Justin Timberlake & Jay Z combined. I don’t have a reel but I do have videos of me singing live, which is playing a persona in itself.

I noticed you are only hiring for Bones and Frankie & that sadly doesn’t match my gender ha. However I have quite an androgynous look for a female and my real name is Kyle. Its bloody annoying when introducing myself to people, they always say my name back 3 times or mistake Kyle for “Carl”. Anyways I noticed the lead females name was going to be Billy & I’ve come to trust the Universe is a strange web of purpose and fate if we are willing and ready.

Mr.Gosling if you are the one reading this then I just want to say Thank You for the chance to write and argument not many people even give me this small chance. Ever since I saw Angels and Demons in theaters I knew that one day I had to be a movie director as soon as Ron Howard’s name I just prayed and believed that one day my name would be up there. I’m currently studying at the New York Film Academy but I know being on a bunch of sets would also give me experience and just like how Ben Affleck got into directing by acting I think acting is how I’m going to enter this industry so it would be an honor to be in your film and I promise I would work hard because nothing will stop my dream from coming true and I mean nothing

Mr. Gosling, I just want to say that you are an incredible actor and for quite some time you have been my inspiration. You are the reason that I have such a strong interest in being an actor. If I am chosen for this opportunity I will not let you down!

  121. Emily Pishtey says:

I would love to be in this! I honestly have never acted before bedsides once in a play in middle shool, but this would be a great opportunity. I am 15 years old, so I do not know if there would be a part for me. But please consider me. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

  122. Chaseedaw says:

Men make a lot of assumptions about women and treat them accordingly. They rationalize their bad behavior using our often irrational, and emotional behavior. But the thing about me is I understand that I am enough and that makes me very different. I like to think of myself as a beautiful monster. My advice to men: treat me like I might kill you.

  123. Stephany Lyman says:

Acting has always been a passion for me, and I’d love this opportunity to show my acting chops.

  124. Tammy Morgan says:

I have the perfect little boy, for the role of “Frankie” With that said, my son is always claiming, that monsters did it, or took it. The blame always falls to the Monster!! I have submitted my son’s open call audition and would be honored to have him be part of “How To Catch A Monster” with Ryan Gosling. I have heard so many great things about Ryan, when a friend of mine was cast as an extra on Ryan’s staff in the film “Ides of March” which some of the scenes where filmed here in Detroit, MI and to boot, it was at my daughters Foot Dr.s Office, or at least the adjacent buildings surrounding that office. I hear that Ryan likes ghost, and played in a band or did a scene at a cemetary; way to go, my daughter would be so jealous to hear that. She is obssessed with Ghost Adventures and only being 9 years old, and into acting, she would love to do anything that represents ghosts. Ya, for Michigan, for shooting this movie here. I am on IMDb, look me up: Rose Anne Nepa…I would be a serious, dedicated to the project, delivering my best performance on film,,,,,,I hope you contact me….The parts you have at present, I do not fit, but hope you have a middle aged women, 35-55/Preety/ that you are looking to cast. I am that person. Hope to hear from you for an audition in Detroit! Thanks SO much.

  127. here’s youtube link to see my two son’s and consider letting them audition for How to Catch a Monster. We live in Southeast MI and both boys have been doing extra work Oz-Disney, Dhoom 3, Fractured-Kawas, live theater, and a couple commercials. Mostly they are just boys and like boy fun so this movie would be terrific. Neither has a reel – sorry. They have just been acting 1 year but seem to really love it and have very good work ethic as family is self-employed and they often help out.

Recently I was an extra on SMASH and throughly enjoyed all I learned and experienced while on set. I am sure Ryan will direct an amazing production, since his work on the while being on the other side of the camera is amazing. It would be a dream come true to be able to be apart of this movie. Although it does not say that you are in need of any girl roles for this movie, I’m just putting myself out there in case anything pops up. Although I am just a young girl (15 years old), this film truly intrigues me. I have a lot to say and I would appreciate it if you would email me back! 133. Hi my name is Chance Crimin. I am 16 years old, and I live in Kaysville Utah. I would love to audition for a teenage role. I read the character descriptions for Bones and Frankie and I felt like they were written just for me. I am very much an introverted, imaginative kid. I have a hard past, and I could relate to the character. I love being creative with my mind, and not a single day has passed in these last 5 years or so where I haven’t thought about my wildest dream of becoming an actor. I may not be a big star, but I can surprise some people and like many others all I need is one shot. I would love to be considered, and I look forward to hearing from somebody:)

  143. Hassan Mazloum says:

    Hello,

I am a big fan of all your films and was excited to hear of the casting call for “Frankie”, a little boy portrayed as a trouble maker, who is also quiet and withdrawn. My son’s unique gestures and attitude fits Frankie’s characteristics. His pre-school teachers often tell me that he should be an actor/entertainer. My son is turning 5 in June of 2013 and is approximately 4 ft tall, he has dark brown hair, big brown eyes and fair olive complexion. He is originally of Middle-Eastern decent, he can pass for a number of multi-cultural backgrounds such as hispanic. If you have any questions or concerns that I may have overlooked to mention please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your consideration.

This would be a great experience for me because I do not have any. I have only done small amateur parts here and there. I am a published amateur poet. I love to write about life and love, and pretty much everything. I write free-stlye. I am from Boston, MA and live in Nevada. I Have a great deal to offer you and if given a chance, you would not be disappointed. Please consider me because I know that I am reliable and have a strong work ethic. I have excellent comminucations and interpersonal skills, I love people and get along with everyone, I am easy-going, and enjoy laughing at myself, especially when I am flaky and ditzy. It comes to me days later, like when someone tells you a joke that you didn’t get, and then all of a sudden, you have a moment and say, OMG, I got it and it’s all been over for like weeks, maybe months…

I’ve taken acting classes in the past, but I’d never really considered making it a career, until now. I think this would be the perfect opportunity for me to get started. 169. I’m just trying to grasp this concept of leaving a comment below to be considered for a roll or to be involved in a feature film directed by an Oscar Nominated actor, a very well accomplished actor, starring an actress that is just as good if not better and more well known than its director and ALSO starring an actor who is currently playing the Doctor in Doctor Who… To me, personally, that sounds a bit too good to be true, but hey, I’ll bite. I’m Skyler. I’m Actor and a Production Assistant in Atlanta, Georgia. And I want to be a part of your movie. How’d I do?

I could sit here and write about how acting is my passion and how i have been involved with it for so long. But plain and simply I am not going to. I am one of a kind and I have an extremely bold personality. My drive and determination is like no other. I promise that considering me for any role will not be regretted. I am professional, I am experienced, I am driven. I am Jared Roch.

  181. David Alexander says:

I am simple boy living in New York City who is willing to commit my self to dream of acting. I am an honest and determined person who has not a lot to say about my experience as an actor, because I have not. But I am willing to face any given problem and rejection if it means that I must work harder to make my dream come true. I acknowledge anyone that has took their time to read what I had to say and deeply thank you and hope for the best.

I am very versatile in my character development techniques and would love to find more challenging roles to play. I have acted in roles as both men and women, and find my forte in fantasy and intensely imaginative roles. I would love to audition for any available roles you have. Any audtion would be a great experience and would introduce you to me for potential work in the future if needed.

  185. Kyle Dodge says:

I honestly can’t express why I should be considered for Bones, other than the feeling I got from reading his Bio. As a introverted child growing up with a single mother and falling in with a bad crowd and leading me down a dark path for most of my life, I’ve had to face certain fears head on (Half Nelson honestly made me reevaluate my life decisions to that point). Nowadays, I’m in school in Chicago, working my ass off in all forms of filmmaking (acting, writing, producing, scoring, art dept.) and actually excelling in them…
I’ve been blessed to be able to be in over 40 films in the two years I’ve been here from student shorts to experimental theatre to most independent featurea. I’ve been lucky to have been taught by some of Chicago’s well-known actors and directors and through conversing with them, they each have said I should start to seek more professional work. So as I read the bio for Bones, I’m blown away at the similarities between us even though there isn’t a great deal of information. I’m blown away because the details used to describe Bones are the same things I describe myself as, most importantly the desire to face his fears and curiosity. Carl Jung’s theory of the shadow self has always intrigued me, and my ability to portray the Human Condition has lead me into this field full of risks and uncertainties.
So I’ll close with this. If Gosling wants a punk kid who can play a range from 16-early 30′s (baby faced/ great beard), has excelled in every role I’ve portrayed, has a “great screen presence” (always get compared to young Jack Nicholson/Gary Oldman/ and Mr. Gosling), a hard look with an overactive mind, and has a great grasp on both the Human Condition/Behavior and how to portray that to the screen… then let me play Bones, it’s fate I’m even here today, maybe it’s fate to be in this movie. I mean, I even have “Mommy’s Little Monster” tattooed on my body.
My name is Kyle Dodge, my existence in this world is to portray the misfits and “abnormal” characters of society through film, and unpretentiously and genuinely believe I can bring this character to life.

My name is Bianca king and I’m from the small town of Auburn Hills, Michigan. I’m young, fun and have always been known for being loud and out going. I have acting and modeling experience thanks to the John Robert Powers acting and modeling agency and have just been dying to use it! I look very ethnic and have facial scars and beauty marks. Its always been a huge dream of mine to act. Thank you for your time.

I am simply looking to work as an extra on this film. I have modeled in the past, but have always been interested in the fantasy and intrigue of movies.
