According to TVLINE.com, The Bridge centers on two detectives from the United States and Mexico who are forced to work together to hunt down a serial killer operating on the American/Mexican Border. So, it is clear that this upcoming TV program will be action packed from beginning to end.
Diane Kruger, has landed the lead female role in FX’s drama pilot “The Bridge”. She has previously worked on Inglorious Bastards and the National Treasure films. She will portray Homicide Detective Sonya North, a cop who lacks warmth, and empathy. Shockingly candid, she calls the world like she sees it – which can be off-putting to her colleagues, but also refreshing and funny. The role of her partner, Marco Ruiz is still being cast.
The Bridge pilot was written by Meredith Stiehm of the critically acclaimed Homeland, and Elwood Reid from Hawaii Five-O and will be directed by Gerardo Naranjo.

EL PASO, TX Casting Notice – FX Channel television Pilot “The Bridge” for work on WEDNESDAY 11/28/12 (TOMORROW!). Pay rate $8.00/hour with an 8 hour minimum guarantee ($64.00) plus overtime after 8 hours. This will likely be a NIGHT SHOOT with an afternoon call time and you will need to have the whole day/night (minimum 12-13 hours from your call time) available! Please DO NOT submit if you don’t intend to stay for a full 12 hours from your start time!
**EXTRAS**
- EL PASO DRIVERS with CARS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-60, good drivers, MUST have a running vehicle that is NOT red, white or black.
- EL PASO ONLOOKERS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-80, all types.
- EL PASO POLICE OFFICERS: male and female, Hispanic or Caucasian, age range 25-45, fit, athletic, 5’10″-6’0″ for men, 5’6″-5’9″ for women. MUST have short hair cuts (men).
- FIREFIGHTERS: male, all ethnicities, REAL Firefighters with experience.
