The problem for me is that the Hearing Director and Producer do not know that I m “DEAF” but can not hear the Phone messages or I would miss the calls. I do not want the “Text Messages” because it cost money to answer the call even I am profound DEAF. So, how am I suppose to know when is the Auditions for the Address, information when and where and what time. I would miss those calls. The “BEST” way is to contact me through my e-mail only way to communicate with me. OR I have a special phone at home it is for Hearing person to communicate through the “Professional Certificated Interpreter” Otherwise hearing people Hang up the phone on me many time that why I never get a chance to be in the “Casting” or hearing people think Deaf can not be part of the casting. I have a lot of films last year and this year. So far most of them never never call. I think hearing people are more afraid to communicate with the deaf person; My phone is: 866-950-5796 is the only way I know if the person call me. I can not hear the phone. Are there anyway you can make “Accommodation for the disability. I want to BREAK A LEG” I enjoyed doing Extra, Non speaking, Stand in short script, I can speak very good and ASL Sign Languages as well but expert lip reader. I need a job and need to work every day :( Any suggestion to work it out… for he Deaf Actress or any work I can do..
