‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 casting call for extras in Spain.

Update: Monday, September 1, 2014: Filming for ‘Game of Thrones’ in Spain has really ramped up in production. Casting directors were looking for extras to work in Southern Spain and hundreds of thousands of people applied for a chance to work on Season 5 of Game of Thrones. Fresco Film Services recently announced that the actors for ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 have chosen all of their talent to work on ‘Game of Thrones’.

Thank you all for applying for the casting for extras of “Game of Thrones”. Out of all applications, those preselected for the casting have been notified directly. Thank you very much for your interest.

Update: July 9th, 2014: It was recently confirmed that the Game of Thrones will be filmed in Southern Spain this fall and the first extras casting call attracted tens of thousands of people.

According to OLV, some of the possible filming locations include Moorish palace Real Alcazar in Seville and various places in the Osuna region, including the University of Osuna.

Based on the bestselling fantasy book series “A Song of Ice and Fire,” by George R.R. Martin, HBO’s GAME OF THRONES  ended its ten-episode fourth season in June and will begin filming its fifth season in Belfast later this month.

The series, executive produced and written by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, is an epic story of treachery and nobility, set on the continent of Westeros, where summers and winters can last years.

Fresco Film Services are still casting extras to appear in the next season of Game of Thrones.
