W2 Films is casting for dynamic and charismatic actors to take part in this fun and exciting project. This is an excellent opportunity for actors of levels of experience and backgrounds to audition. Doctor PU will be a featured mini series and is a non-union independent project.
Doctor PU
Doctor PU is a spoof of the popular British show Doctor Who. It follows the Doctor and his companion Mel as they go on an adventure to save time and space from destruction. This Sci-fi Comedy will span the universe as they look to stop the evil deeds of Governor Crux.
ROLES!!
Mel – (20’s; female) Color blind and independent, Mel is a goth who through the act of fate, finds her self traveling through time and space with the Doctor. Reluctantly she becomes the doctors companion.
Governor Crux – (40’s – 60’s; male) Driven by a burning desire for respect and fear. Space Governor Crux is a man of overcompensation. At wits end, Crux makes a bold choice that if people wont elect him to rule. He will then destroy what he cant have.
Ro-Buddy – (any age; Male) Ro-Buddy was once a popular line of robots created to appeal to little boys and teach them about caring for their friends. Being the only friend Crux has ever had. Ro-Buddy is Cruxes right hand man in his mission for galactic domination.
Roscoe – ( 20’s – 40’s Male) Family man and caretaker to Governor Crux. Roscoe comes from a blue collar back ground.
Salesmen – (any age; Male) A galactic black market salesman. He’s always looking for a good deal.
