‘Bolden’ Movie Casting Call for African American Teens and Adult Actors in Atlanta

‘Bolden’ Movie Casting Call for African American Teens and Extras in Atlanta.

Marinella Hume Casting is looking for African American men and women ages 12 to 40 to work on the upcoming feature film ‘Bolden’ filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

It is the passion project of Hyatt Hotels heir and writer/director Dan Pritzker, who has reportedly funneled millions into the film. Anthony Mackie (“The Hurt Locker”) originally was featured in the title role but will be recast before filming restarts, according to Star News Online.

According to IMDB, Bolden! features Jackie Earle HaleyOmari Hardwick, and Michael Rooker.

Fittings are scheduled for Friday, August 22nd and casting directors are seeking African American. Producers are looking for men who are of Creole descent. In addition casting directors are looking for teenagers to work on a scene filming film in Atlanta. Produers are looking for teens ages 12 to 15.

For FRIDAY – We are seeking AFRICAN AMERICAN MALES and FEMALES, ages 18 – 40 with longer, natural hair (or are willing to cut or grow their hair to play the part), who have not been fit to work on BOLDEN yet. Please give us your EXACT SIZES!! – Do not lie about your sizes as these are period costumes and cannot be altered and there will not be much give in the material.

SUBJECT – FRIDAY FITTING

Also still seeking MALES who are of (or can play those of) CREOLE DESCENT, ages 18 – 35. Please give us your EXACT SIZES!! – Do not lie about your sizes as these are period costumes and cannot be altered and there will not be much give in the material. You will be portraying visitors of the LINCOLN AMUSEMENT PARK in New Orleans in the early 1900’s and must be available to come in for a MANDATORY WARDROBE FITTING on WEDNESDAY.

SUBJECT – CREOLE FITTING

Also seeking AFRICAN AMERICAN 12 – 15 YEAR OLDS – Males and Females who are available to be fit TOMORROW or FRIDAY. Small framed children with longer, natural hair (or are willing to cut or grow their hair to play the part), who have not been fit to work on BOLDEN yet.

For your child, please submit all information in the following format:

  • Weight
  • All wardrobe sizes – Shirt, Pants, Shoe
  • Are you willing to let your child film during school days? We will begin filming Mid to Late September. Filming is not done on weekends so you would have to be ok with your child missing a few days of school. Home schooled children are preferred.
