A&E’s “Those Who Kill” Open Casting Call

Background performers (ages 15+ except for 2 Russian looking boys 10 and 8 years old) are being sought for a new show for A&E Television Networks.  The crime procedural, “Those Who Kill,” focuses on a female detective and a forensic psychologist.  Extras of all ethnicities are needed to play graduate level students, police, detectives, paramedics, crime team, news team, prostitute, security, hospital staff and more.

According to the Pittsburgh Film Office, Actors as well as those with real experience are encouraged to apply.  Come prepared to improvise a crime and/or hospital scene (non-verbal).  Background performers must be available at least one day during the week (12 hour day typical) to be eligible.  Stand-ins are also needed (must have open availability during week).  Bring headshot/resume and current photo with contact info., measurements, and availability Dec 3-18 listed on back.

The filming will take place at locations around Pittsburgh Nov. 29 and Dec. 3-18, 2012.  DO NOT APPLY if you CANNOT be available at least one full DAY (12 hours) during the week. If you would like to take part in this exciting new show, please register at:

Female – 5’ 8”, 125-135 lbs, blue eyes, blonde hair (must be available 12 days)

Female – 5’7”, slender, blue eyes, red hair (must be available 1 day)

Female – 5’5”, thin, brown eyes, dark brown hair (must be available 1 day)

Female – 5’6”, 115-120 lbs, green eyes, red hair (must be available 6 days)

Male – 6’ 3”, athletic build, green eyes, dark brown (must be available 10 days)

Male – 5’ 11”, blue eyes, grey hair (must be available 3 days)

Male – 5’7”, trim, brown eyes, dark brown hair (must be available 5 days)

Male – 5’11”, trim, blue/grey eyes, brown hair (must be available 7 days)

Extras Casting will be spearheaded by Sonya Tormoen, head of Collective Casting Group (Spielberg/J.J. Abrams “Super 8”, History Channel’s “Men Who Built America”).

For the Casting Call, there is pay parking options on the street or in the North Shore Parking Garage behind restaurant (entrance in alley off of General Robinson Street) $3 for up to 2 hours.
