‘Wolf Hound’ Feature Film Open Casting Call for Several Speaking Roles

Date:

Wolf Hound is now casting several speaking roles in Michigan.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Michigan.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  1. Captain Jack Reynolds – Caucasian Male, Mid/Late 20s – Mid 30s, average to tall height, fit to athletic build, and handsome, yet rugged looking. He is the wingman, best friend, and mentor figure to the film’s lead character, Captain David Holden. Affable and charismatic, Jack is the wise-cracking fighter pilot we all want to be—the kid who was voted homecoming king, everybody’s best friend.
  2. Captain Heinrich Rall – Caucasian Male, Early/Late 20s, average to tall height, fit and lean, Heinrich is the wingman and younger brother to the film’s lead villain, Major Erich Rall. He is an arrogant, risk-taking Nazi fighter pilot who ignores orders to achieve personal glory. *Actor must be able to perform a realistic German dialect.*
  3. Captain Richard Thompson – Caucasian Male, Late 20s – Mid/Late 30s, average height, athletic build, commanding but not overbearing presence, somewhat rugged and seasoned look, has been to hell and back a few times. Captain of the B-17 and a born leader, Thompson is stern when he needs to be, but is quick with a joke to lighten the mood. He’s someone you’d want to follow into hell. *Actor must be able to perform basic stunts such as running, jumping, dodging, brief fist-fights/struggles, and handling firearms.*

  4. 1st Lt. Henry Armstrong – Caucasian Male, Late 20s – Mid/Late 30s, tall, muscular, imposing build—the big, tough guy type. The humorless, ball-busting co-pilot, Henry is the disciplinarian of the crew. He may sometimes seem heartless, but will give his life for his men. *Actor must be able to perform basic stunts such as running, jumping, dodging, brief fist-fights/struggles, and handling firearms.*

  5. T/Sgt. Harrison Friedman – Jewish-American Male, Mid/Late 20s – Early/Mid30s, a shorter, leaner build, and somewhat vulnerable looking, Friedman is the crew’s Jewish-American radio operator who’s into music and chess. He is not suited for war, but finds courage in the darkest moments. Friedman plays a wooden recorder and sings in the film, so ideally actors submitting should be musically-inclined. The actor playing this character also must be extremely adept at showing strong, intense emotions non-verbally—being able to express fear, terror, hatred, anger, etc., with his eyes. (We are specifically seeking a Jewish-American actor for this role, but will also accept submissions from actors who realistically appear to be Jewish.) *Actor must be able to perform basic stunts such as running, jumping, dodging, brief fist-fights/struggles, and handling firearms.*

  6. T/Sgt. William McAllister –Caucasian Male, Mid/Late 20s – Early 30s, relatively tall, athletic build, intense, has an attitude and is usually a little edgy and irritated. McAllister is the crew’s flight engineer who’s extremely competitive. If you’ve got a bet, he’ll take it.

  7. S/Sgt. John “Johnny” Simpson – Caucasian Male, Early/Late 20s, short to average height, average build, young looking, but not baby-faced. Simpson is the left waist gunner, and the youngest of the crew. He’s in over his head, but he always tries his hardest.

  8. Nazi Captain – Caucasian Male, Late 20s – Mid/Late 30s, big and tough, tall, muscular, very physically imposing. The Captain is an arrogant ass-kisser who will throw anyone under the bus to make himself look better. *Actor must be able to perform a realistic German dialect, and basic stunts such as running, jumping, dodging, brief fist-fights/struggles, and handling firearms.*

  9. Nazi Guard – Caucasian Male, Mid 20s – Early/Mid 30s, tall, athletic build, tough, strong, rugged, and mean looking. He is antagonistic and always looking to pick a fight—a real son of a bitch. . *Actor must be able to perform a realistic German dialect, and basic stunts such as running, jumping, dodging, brief fist-fights/struggles, and handling firearms.*

  10. Nazi Pilots (2) – Caucasian Males, Aryan looking, Mid 20s – Early/Mid 30s, average height, fit, lean build, they carry themselves with arrogance, noses in the air. They are insidious infiltrators trained to perfectly mimic US military pilots. *Actors must be able to perform realistic German dialect, and be able to switch back and forth between their German and American personas seamlessly on the fly.*

  11. RBE Driver – African American Male, Mid 30s – Late 40s, tall, muscular build, strong, physically imposing, short hair or shaved head; a Red Ball Express driver captured and imprisoned by the Nazis. *Actor must be able to perform basic stunts such as running, jumping, dodging, brief fist-fights/struggles, and handling firearms.*

  12. British RAF Pilot – Caucasian Male, Late 20s – Early/Mid 30s, average height, lean build, must be able to appear visibly shell shocked with rattled nerves from weeks of imprisonment by the Nazis. *Actor must be able to perform basic stunts such as running, jumping, dodging, brief fist-fights/struggles, and handling firearms.*
