WGN’s ‘Underground‘ Season 2 casting call for stand-ins in Savannah, Georgia.
Marty Siu Casting is now hiring stand-ins for the actors Aldis Hodge and Jurnee Smollett-Bell. Casting directors are looking for actors that have the same height and measurements as the actors. Filming will take place in Savannah, Georgia starting August 29th through December 1st.
About Underground:
‘Underground’ follows a group of slaves who plan a daring escape from a Georgia plantation to cross 600 miles to freedom, aided along the way by a secret abolitionist couple running a station on the Underground Railroad, as they evade those tasked with bringing them back, dead or alive.

Underground Season 2 Casting Call
UNDERGROUND, Season Two: We will need a STAND-IN for Aldis Hodge. If you are the same height (Aldis is 6’1), skin tone, and similar look, are local to Savannah GA (or able to work as a local) and can join us pretty full time from Aug 29 – Dec 1st, please apply right away.

The Director of Photography will do a camera test on Wednesday of next week, with 3 or 4 applicant’s and he’ll select the one that is a best match on camera for Aldis skin tone/height.
Pay rate for Standins: $125/10 ($125.00 for up to 10 hours; time and a half after 10). An average work day for standins is 12 hours per day, sometimes longer, so please only apply if you are fully available to this series.
