‘The Resident’ Atlanta Casting Call for a Gala Event Scene

Fox is now casting extras for a gala scene in Atlanta, Georgia for The Resident.

Casting directors are now casting talent to work on scenes filming on January 23rd and January 24th in Atlanta, Georgia.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  1. MALES – Any ethnicity, late 20’s to 60’s looking age range, must have a full upscale Tuxedo, there will be additional compensation for formal attire. The wardrobe department wants to see a photo of you in your Tuxedo, to make sure it’s formal and not just a nice suit. Please make sure when you submit your photo, it is a full length photo, and you must be wearing the tux, and have on the proper shoes. No visible tattoos. Black Tuxedo is preferred, but a White Tuxedo jacket or Navy Blue will be accepted.
  2. FEMALES- Any ethnicity, late 20’s to 60’s looking age range. Must have full length formal gown. They do NOT want cocktail dresses. There will be additional compensation for formal attire. The wardrobe department wants to see a photo of you in your Gown. Please make sure when you submit your photo, it is a full length photo, and you are wearing the gown, and have on the appropriate shoes and jewelry. Purses and wraps and other accessories are encouraged. No visible tattoos. No bright or neon colors. Sequins is ok, but nothing to sparkly or distracting.

About The Resident:

According to DeadlineThe Resident centers around Devon Pravesh (Manish Dayal) a young doctor who begins his first day working with senior resident Conrad Hawkins who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern-day medicine. Lives may be saved or lost, but expectations will always be shattered.

**FORMAL GALA EVENT SCENE!**
Pay rate: $64 plus $15 formal attire bump
Location: TBD (Atlanta area)
Work dates: Tuesday January 23rd AND Wednesday January 24th.

The show “The Resident” is filming an upscale formal Gala Event scene on Tuesday January 23rd and Wednesday January 24th. I don’t know the exact location, but it should be in the Atlanta area. This is a BLACK TIE event, so everyone will be required to wear upscale Formal attire.

Everyone with the right look and wardrobe is encouraged to submit, the Gala event scene is for the Hospital, so if you have worked on the show as a Doctor, Nurse, Administrator, Resident or Med Student, you are also encouraged to submit in your Formal attire. You must be available BOTH work dates (1/23 and 1/24). Please submit your full length photo IN formal attire to [email protected] and please put the word “FORMAL” in the subject line. Everyone must have their formal attire approved by wardrobe before you can be booked, so if you don’t submit the photo, you will not be considered. You only need to submit once, but if you have multiple Formal options, you can include multiple photos. No phone calls please, if you are selected a Central Casting representative will give you a call with booking information. Thank You!
