Netflix’s “OBX” Charleston Extras Casting Call New Talent

Netflix’s new series “OBX” is now casting new talent in Charleston, South Carolina.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on May 29th in Charleston, South Carolina.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • RESIDENTS (prepping for storm):
    Males and females, all ethnicities, ages 18-70s. Those submitting should be comfortable acting as though they are storm prepping (filling up sand bags (smaller ones), stacking them, etc. this will require some physical work.)
  • Boat Owners OR Townie W/ Dogs:
    Males or females, any ethnicity, ages 18-70s. Those submitting must include a picture of their dog AND the dog must be a non-barker (well behaved dog when on set.)
    This role will include a $50 pet bump.
  • SALTYS:
    Males or female, any ethnicity, ages 18-70s (but really need a lot in the 30-40 yr age range). Those submitting should have a good character face, scruffy hair, seem weathered, rugged, sun-tanned, leathered skin, etc. We are really trying to get across that our local, rugged salts are not just found in the 50+ age range.)
  • STORM UTILITY WORKERS W/VEHICLES:
    Males, all ethnicities, ages 30s-50s, with a truck or suv that is neither white nor red.
    This role will get a $20 vehicle bump

About Netflix’s “OBX”:

The new series called “OBX” is is a “coming of age story about four best friends in high school during the summer following a devastating hurricane.” Filming starts on May 1st in Charleston, and will last until Labor Day.

Pay is a GUARANTEED $80 for 8 hrs and time and a half for every hour that exceeds the 8th. Call time could be as early as 5:30am and Filming days can last up to 12+ hours so please come prepared.
