Is this new casting call for The Walking Dead? Recently, Catrett Casting posted a “Huuuuuuge Casting Notice!” on Facebook looking for photo doubles, stand-ins and background extras. In addition, it was recently announced that filming for The Walking Dead season 7 was headed to Jekyll Island to film several scenes on the beach. According to Patch.com, the same company that films “The Walking Dead” and “Fear The Walking Dead” will be shooting on Jekyll Island in mid-August.

From Patch.com:

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources Coastal Resources Division has given permission for Stalwart Films to film on the beach and nearby marshland. One scene reportedly involves four cast members on a beach with “a human corpse half buried in a small tidal pool.”

“Further down the beach, another person is washed ashore alive and carried to a drier section of the beach. After being revived, the survivor slips away from the rescuers while they are distracted and is seen moving inland past the wrack line,” the request stated.

We have reached out to Catrett Casting for comment but, we have not heard back. If this is a casting call for The Walking Dead, then you should definitely apply. For more details, check out the casting call information below.
