Columbus movie starring John Cho and Michael Cera casting call for featured extras in Columbus, Indiana.
Want to work with Michael Cera? If so, then I have great news for you. On Location Casting is currently casting for the upcoming feature film Columbus, which is now filming in Columbus, Indiana.
Casting directors are looking for extras to work on the scene and play featured roles in the new movie. Filming will take place on Thursday, August 18th in Columbus, Indiana.
About Columbus:
According to The Republic, Columbus centers around the character of Jin who is played by John Cho, 29, who recently left the University of Cambridge without a doctorate in literature and now is translating books for a publisher in Seoul. He suddenly finds himself stuck in Columbus, where his architect father lies hospitalized in a coma after a visit here to study noted structures. Jin waits and secretly hopes for his father to die. In contrast, Casey, 19 (played by Haley Lu Richardson of ABC Family’s “Ravenswood”), a blue-collar, worldly and bright young woman, wants to stay in Columbus with her mother, a recovering addict, instead of pursuing her own dreams. The two eventually spend summer’s final weeks together.

We do not have a Call Time yet so you would need to be fully 100% available on work date. Tentative Wrap Time 1:00AM. MUST be available ALL DAY!! You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $32.00 for 4 hours ($8.00/hour with a 4 hour guarantee). You will be paid the hourly rate for anything over 4 hours. You will receive a check in the mail usually 1-164 business days AFTER you work. (*to those of you who have previously been asked to work as a Volunteer extra and are confused as to why we are offering pay for these extras – it is because this is a late night shoot)
–We will not be providing mileage/gas reimbursement or accommodations to anyone working as background talent on this project. You are responsible for your own transportation and local accommodation.–
