MAJOR Feature Film Casting Call for a Basketball Scene

Major feature film is now casting extras for a basketball scene in Atlanta, Georgia.

Casting directors are looking for talent to work on scenes filming between Monday, August 14th through Wednesday, August 16th. Producers are seeking the following types:

  • Central Casting is booking an EXT New York Basketball Court scene. We are seeking male and female basketball enthusiasts w/ Cars. We need ALL ETHNICITIES with cars that are 2010-present- NO RED WHITE AND BLACK!

Details surrounding the movie have not been released. However, according to Explore Georgia, Kyrie Irving’s new basketball movie Uncle Drew is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia. The original Pepsi Max commercials showed Irving, in full makeup, playing a 70-plus-year-old man, Drew, who would show up to pickup basketball games and school kids half his age, while also reminiscing about how the game used to be played. Temple Hill’s Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, and John Fischer will produce the film, described as a love letter to basketball, Variety reports.
